Jen,  We try to be fun all the time but we also cry together at times.  I just checked and Pua's ship came in yesterday but they were staying in San Diago tonight.

Thank you Mari, I just started posting today, it's addicting ! Max has been keeping me up on all the news from the posts all this time. We are both sorry to hear that now Andy is sick, We too are very excited to meet so many nice people, and I think we have lots in common. I knew you were my kind of people when Max told me that you have a four legged, furry child, and 2 feathered babies.

I do have all the suitcases in the spare bedroom ready to be packed, did our meds the other day.  If I lived in colder climate (shudder at the thought) it would be easy to pack, but seeing as how I live here in FL I am still wearing my capri's and shorts.  I did however buy 4 new bathing suits for the cruise.  We have 4 days in ports back to back and 3 of our excursions involve water.  We all know how cold the staterooms are and to think of donning a damp freezing cold bathing suit first thing in the morning makes me think ......... NOT.... LOL.

 

That sound like a perfect reason to buy 4 new swim suits. ( I won't tell your DH that they have cloths dryers on board)

 Yeah well my reponse to that is ........... when he makes more money than I do then he can question my spending habits, in the meantime he can just hush and enjoy the ride LOL

Hi Jen and everyone! We just got home from the Holiday in Mobile at 10:30 P.M. We flew from Pensacola to Atlanta this afternoon and then from Atlanta to Pittsburgh this evening. It was a great cruise on a lovely ship. We met Jetskier/Dave in person on the Holiday on Friday. We had missed him earlier in the week, as I took Diane to the wrong bar by the wrong pool on the Lido Deck on Monday for a drink on our first afternoon onboard. We also met several great couples, Tom and Lois who gave us a free ride to Pensacols Airport from the Holiday and were our tablemates at dinner all week, and Danny and Gilda who we hung out with a lot all week. Gilda and Diane shopped a lot in Playa Del Carmen in between the raindrops. Danny showed me all the places in Playa Del Carmen with $1.00 beer while our wives shopped.

The crew of the Holiday had great food, nice parties, and lots of fun activities for their guests this week. The rain in both Cozumel and in Calica/Playa Del Carmen was a bit of a nuisance, but not enough to ruin a cruise. It was a fantastic vacation!

Hi Sue! The Welcome Home Discount was discontinued as of June 30, 2009. However, you can purchase a $100.00 Future Cruise Voucher at the Future Cruise Desk while on the Valor. I think all of the Conquest Class Fun Ships have Future Cruise Desks. You pay $100 for the voucher and receive BOTH $100 towards your next cruise AND some OBC for the same cruise. If it's a 7-day cruise, you get $100 OBC. That's $200 total for the $100 you spend. If you book a 5-day cruise, it's only a $50 OBC that you receive in addition to the $100 payment on your cruise for $150 total for your $100 investment.

Glad to hear that you had a great time on the Holiday.  We had a fantastic time on the Paradise.  Currently trying to book two more cruises for next year!

Smitty, good to hear from you guys and that you had a wonderful time, I wished we could have made that trip.  Jen and I are trying hard to join the others on the Triumph in Dec. 2010, in fact I just dropped an e-mail to the PVP.  Almost signed off but thought I'd see if you had posted, glad I did, and especially glad you had a great time!  Well, I should get off myself, rest up and tell us more my friend!
