I just received the DVD of Samantha Brown on the Freedom from Carnival. I can't remember how many months ago I requested it. Mari, I believe you are the one I got the information from, do you remember when it first became available?

Do you requested it thru the travel channel?

It came directly from Carnival. I remember someone posting a link to sign up to get one, so of course I immediately did. Now the ship she is on is one of the ones we are considering for next year.

Wow! I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't remember how I got this video.  I was thinking that I signed up for it through the Travel Channel's vacation give-away web site, but maybe it was on Carnival.  Anyway, my hubby and I watched it Wednesday night and are considering the Freedom as one of our next trips.  Antigua looked beautiful! 

I just got it too and I don't think I ordered it at all.  I saw the episode on the Travel Channel about 3 times.  Weird, huh?  Maybe they sent it to random past cruisers or someting?

after my group watches it, I'll send it on to anyone wanting it and it can just be passed on like that.

We are going on the freedo in 13 days I cannot wat. I would definately like to see that.  Thank you Bonnie

Not sure if its the same thing or not but I seen one of the Carnival commercials this morning and they advertised for a free cruise video (not sure of the ship). At the end of the commercial they flashed a phone number for ordering, it went pretty fast and caught me off guard, so have a pen ready and waiting. If I happen to catch it I'll post it.

I also requested a copy when someone posted the link a while back. It was so long ago, I just gave up waiting for it. Looks like there is still hope. We are booked on the Freedom in April, for our daughter's wedding. She is anxious to see it too.

there were postings on another thread that some had received it last week. I don't think we'll have had our group watch it in time to send to the person leaving in 13 days, but, when we're done I will send it on its way.

firsttimers,  Was browsing thru this forum and came across your posting.  Noticed you guys are on the Miracle this month.  IF you haven't started your cruise yet, just want to say have a great time and am sure you will like the Miracle.  I sailed on it March 2007....is a beautiful ship.  Don't forget to take lots of photo's so you can look back on all the fun you guys had.  Have a great cruise.

Thank you so much Rob. We set sail on the 12th.  Can't wait, taking all new first time cruiser's with us this time.  I've heard great things about the Miracle and I hope you enjoyed your vacation as much as we hope to!

Very cool!  I'd love to see it or have a copy, I'll try to see if I can get my hands on one.
