Suku,  We are like family here and most of us know things about each other that we have accepted.  There are a lot of things in our lives that no knows.  You will find that some topics will hit soft spots in many of us.  Some things make us laugh and cry and yes angry also.  We all know Lizz and how she responds to things.  That's Lizz!  We try not to go to name calling here.  When we post we have to be aware that what we say may be taken wrong because we can't see the facial expression and body language.  When I find that my post is taken in a way not intended and I upset some one I will try and let them know I am sorry.

Good morning Steve,  As always by the time I get here every one is off doing their own thing.  It's only 10 am here.

Good Morning Marlene. Hope my friend is well today. It is almost 2pm here in Ohio. Still need to rake leaves and do dishes. I been pretty slack in my duties so far today! Bet you can guess why!!! LOL. Talking about Sushi,my sister's BIL work's for Toyota out of Ky. He goes to Japan alot. He said he was at a dinner table one night and they were serving Octopus. He said he sat his beer down and reached for it and it was moved. Thought maybe the bottom of the bottle was just wet and it slid away a little bit. He put it down again and saw it move. The Octopus had it's tenticle (sp) wrapped around it pulling it away!!! He was going to eat live Octopus for dinner!!! Hey was not a happy camper,but I guess you don't insult your host over there. Evidently it is a expensive delicacy in Japan. He said he thought he was going to "hurl" and could not hardly drink enough beer's and Sakie (sp again) to get through dinner.

 

Ive seen many programs on TV that makes me go ~gulp~ I would not eat that.. its alive and kicking.. ewwwww.. like the monkey in the middle of the table.. which I will not go into details but is GROSS!  I just hope that if Iever go to Japan, they have a McD around, or else I will come back several pounds lighter.

BTW Sage, I want to THANK YOU for the suggestion for  the behind the fun tour. Every minute of it I remembered how much u enjoyed it. We did too..a lot! my feet not so much though..lol.. but thats my fault for being stupid and taking totally wrong shoes for my trip.. I paid dearly.. next  cruise. TENNIS SHOES goes on my feet weather I like them or not !

I am so glad  you got to do that tour. I thought it was wonderful.  LOL, my g/f Julie didn't have closed toe shoes, so she had to pick up some cheap ones in PV...  I was lucky enough to have my tennis shoes (you know for when I was in the gym working out................ NOT!!!)

I don't understand starting the daily chat like it was started today.  I mean...couldn't ya just say "Howdy, how y'all are?"  Why even start it with something that might hit someone you don't even know close to home?  You might not have meant to offend, and we're happy that you have a little bird singing on your shoulder....but SOMETIMES, that lil' bird craps on ya and we call that life!
