    Crowded on the boat?

Will be our first time on the Conquest for the Thansgiving cruise 11/22-29. Noticed on the website that all cabins except a handful of interior are sold out.  Anyone know how crowded the boat really is if it is sold out? Long lines anywhere that we should be aware of?

    Thanks!

Based on double occupancy just shy of 3000. Full occupancy 3500-3800.  Lots of families and kids I suspect.

    Places you'll likely have lines

Lido Buffet, Pizza, Deli, Purser's desk. Also debarkation, customs.

    Re: Crowded on the boat?

We are taking our 7th and 8th cruise on the Conquest in December.  Usually you will run into crowds on embarkation day.  After that, you shouldn't run into that many crowds.  People are dispersed all over the ship and the ship is huge.  I think every cruise we took on the Conquest were sold out.  You will find the Lido deck pretty crowded on sea days.  They usually have a lot of activities going on by the pools.  If you want to avoid the crowds.  You can always to go the Lido aft.  You will probably want to go out early if you want to get a lounge chair by the pool.  People aren't supposed to save those chairs but they do and I am not sure anything is done about it.  You will have a great cruise on the Conquest.  Have fun!

The good thing about a cruise is that if you encounter a croud you can usually find something else to do. The only exceptions are embarkation & debarkation, it's pretty difficult to avoid getting caught up in these. Just remember that they will take some time and don't let it upset you.

    Re: Crowded on the boat?

the boat is huge! aside from embarkation and debarkation people are spread out all over and we never ran into big crowds. There were 5 people we knew that went on the cruise and we never even knew they were there, never ran into them the whole 7 days! The lines for the buffet can be a little long but really its not that bad. Have fun!
