debarkation time, travel to airport etc

We are sailing Sensation on Dec. 6 to the Bahamas. For those of you who have already done this, our flight home is for 12:15pm. Do we have enough time to get from the ship to the airport to get through security etc. I am so worried about being late for our flight. Please help us out here.

Boy you'll really be pushing it for time. You should be allowed to debark the ship pretty quickly upon arrival once customs clears the ship to disembark. Carnival allows this for early flights. But what if the ship is late or there is a hold up with you going through customs. Anything can happen so you'd better be off that ship as early as possible cause you've got almost an hour ride to MCO. Call Carnival to see if they even offer a transfer early enough to get you to the airport. You may end up having to cab it after all.

Thank you for such a quick reply. My original reservation for our flight was for 12:50pm but it has been changed so many times by the airlines that it is hard to keep up with. I have already contacted them and so far this is the best I have gotten. Hope I make it on time. Happy Sailing

Our situation is very similiar.  We are cruising from San Diego in February and our plane leaves from San Diego at 12:25 p.m.  We are staying at the Holiday Inn there at the pier and the lady at the hotel did not think we would have any problem as the airport is close by.  The hotel is even providing transportation to the airport even though we are only staying before there before the cruise, but are leaving the same day as we return from the cruise. I hope she is right.

Can anyone reassure me conerning this.
