If someone books on ES and now the price of their cabin grade is lower under fun savers can they still get price reduction ? Or can they upgrade

You can do either, but I think that's something you need to talk to your PVP or TA about.

We booked ES with a PVP and our prices have gone WAY down a few times.  A couple times we took the OBC and once we upgraded where Carnival took some OBC and we paid a little bit, but moved from Upper to Lido.  The prices are continuing to go down and we have loads of OBC!  Today we were trying to decide whether to move to Spa deck for the same price, but I think we're going to stay with Lido.

Call your PVP (or TA) and see what they can do or suggest.  Happy cruising!!

but might just be worth calling and talking to the person you booked with and see what they can do for you

You can have the adjust it. You have 76 day from the sailing date to change or cancel with no fees. Cancel that booking and just go for the early saver rate.

Not necessarily so.  Check with your TA.  I think the majority (if not all) TA's go by Carnival's guarantee that anyone that books ES has until 2 days prior to sailing to get credit for a lower Carnival advertised rate.

Some TA's may charge you a fee for filing this claim form with Carnival, but none that I've heard of. 

i look every day for a price and it's never happened to me--i guess it's the luck of the straw...but i'll keep checking-what i got to lose...
