Sage, Ramona has found a pretty good shot of the Paradise to use on our door magnet, so please don't spend time looking, I'm sure your busy enough!  I took a good one years ago that I wanted to use, but I spent half the morning trying to find where I archived it all in vain!  Lot a good it does to take pictures!  Ramona did a nice job, if I could figure out how to post a pic. in my post I would show you? Jim, which batch of dumplings are you on?  I've been coming and going from 'suiting up' to acid-strip our brick floors, wanna trade chores?  I'll cook the dumplings (if shown how), I'll rake the lawn (if shown how), and I'll even put up the Christmas lights (if shown how)! Wait a minute, sounds like you're doing it all!  Whew, my schedule's open,....next!

Yeah, we're entertaining!  I'm a 'bad man' with it when I can, I grab Jen's arm nearly freezing it off, and ask 'Hon, are my hands cold, I can't tell', oh she thinks that's just a hoot! (NOT)

I put up pre-made meals in the freezer and hate, hate, hate it when I take a load of food out, feeling like Gumby in a fit of rage!  Keeps my beer cold without a cozy though, I'll go off and sing my butterfly song now!

MJ, sounds like you'll be alot of help.  I forgot to mention I'm fixing supper too. 

Yeah... lucky me.   I am also blessed with Raynaud's affecting my toes and this year decided to break down and buy some real winter boots and purchased two pairs of Sorrel (sp?) boots, both with ratings of minus 28 degrees, so my feet should be happy this winter.  I found some I liked at Sierra Trading Post's online store and was able to get both pairs for just a little over $200.   One pair normally sells for $189, the other pair around $100, so I'm happy with the deal(s) I got.  Now if I could just find some gloves that I like... for chores and driving.  I have at least five or six pairs of good, lined leather gloves for driving but even in the car with the heat on, my fingers frequently freeze inbetween the time I leave work and get home.

Lizz, Sierra does have nice stuff, that's a great price on those.  Jen got me a pair of snug, but comfortable gloves that are full finger but resemble the fingerless taught exercise gloves with an adjustable velcro strap, they're not insulative, but they help with the circulation.  They were great driving when I hauled trailers briefly, and great around the house.  I can't recall where she got them, but I will try to find out when she gets home and see if I can get that info. posted.  They will fit inside a larger insulated glove for the really cold exposures.
