If I book an excursion for our 2/6/2010 Western Carribbean now through the Carnival website, do I pay for it prior tothe trip or is it charged to my final bill at the end of the cruise? I would like to be able to put whatever excursions I decide to do, on my credit card and then have them paid for beforehand.  Any help would be appreciated.

When we sailed on the Triumph in March 2009 we booked our excursions and paid for them with our credit card at the time we booked them.  We did book one excursion on the ship , it was one that you could only book after the ship sailed, and that excursion was put on our sail and sign card.  I agree with you that it is nice to have the excursions paid for before you cruise. Have aq great time, we are cruising again on the Liberty March 20,2010 and can't wait.

I just booked some excursions a few weeks ago for my up coming cruise and they have already been taken out of my account.  I wanted the whole trip to be paid for before I left.

My husband and I are sailing Glory on 01/03/10, we have already booked and paid for 2 excursions through Carnival's website.  I will also be sending him a "bon voyage" gift to our stateroom at sail time as this is his first cruise (my 2nd).  Everything will be paid for before we board and when I board I will make a $350 deposit to my sail and sign account.  I like to be able to have a good cushion to start.
