Roll call Valor 11/29/09 & new port in Roatan

My wife and I are going on the Valor on 11/29/09 and want to hopefully see some others on here on the ship. Let us know if you are going. It seems as though Carnival has a new port in Roatan called Mahogany Bay Cruise Center instead of the old one in Coxen hole I don't know how close to the action it is but I guess we can take a cab. If anyone has been there let us know.

We're on the Valor for the November 29th sailing, too. We hadn't heard about the port change to Mahogany Bay until we read your post, and then did a little research. The new port is about 3 miles east of Coxen Hole, and east of the airport. If you have Google Earth you can find it by looking for the first cove east of the airport. There's a small island called Coral Cay - the port is just north of that on the east bank.

    Here's a link to Mahogany Bay's webpage:

    mahoganybaycc.com

And here's a link to a PDF that's got a lot of cool information and pictures:

It looks like a pretty amazing development, a major step up from the Coxen Hole port. And it opens on November 19, just in time for our sailing. Thanks for the heads up on the port change.

    See you on board:

Great links especially the PDF that had alot of nice pictures and information, thanks. I have heard that they was going to be a blow up laser tag area on the ship. I am not into laser tag but I am somewhat curious where it will be. It seams like it would take up quite a bit of room.

I don't know if you have noticed or not but on this forum there are "roll calls" and information for almost every other date except for our sailing. And we will be leaving in 3 weeks.

Also the Oasis of the Seas may be in Miami when we get there.
