    Main Dining Room Questions

If you chose to eat breakfast or lunch in the main dining room does it matter which one you dine in or does it need to be the one you are assigned to for the dinner meal? Can you sit anywhere?  Also, what is the dress code for breakfast or lunch in the main dining room?

Typically only one of the dining rooms are open for breakfast and lunch.  It is open seating.  They just seat you wherever is available.  We have sat a large tables with others as well as tables with just our family.  Dress code is casual, just no bathing suits (just cover up).  I always like to go at least onec or twice to the dining room for breakfast/lunch.  It is vacation and I like to be served and not always stand in line at teh buffet.

Thank you vacationmama for your quick response.  On our last cruise we ate the breakfast and lunch buffet everyday and it was wonderful but I'm like you, I want to be waited on at least once and experience it all.  This being our second cruise I will try some different things this time.

Even thought it seems to typically be the stern dining room, your Capers will list which dining room is open, and its hours that day, for breakfast and lunch.  Of course, on port days, neither dining room is open for lunch.

Good question, as I never thought of this, I have never eaten breakfast in the dinning room and I said that during the next cruise I would try it. Thanks for asking this question.Smile

Hi Mouche, you are quite welcome.  I have not eaten in the dining room for breakfast or lunch and thought it would be a treat to be treated like a queen since I feel like on when on the cruise ship.  I hope your cruise is great and that we both enjoy breakfast and lunch in the dining room.
