Does anyone know the most reasonable mode of transportation from the Port Of Miami to the Miami Airport after the cruise?  Our plane leaves around 1:00pm so we would need to get to the airport directly after the cruise.  We have 15 in our group and are looking for the most reasonable mode of transportation for that number of people.  Wondering if a shuttle service would be cheaper than taxis?  If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please let me know.

We had nine people.  I checked the shuttle services, but they were more expensive than just taking two taxis.  The taxis were approx. $25 plus tip each, so they were a better deal.

That is a large group.  There are min-van's used as taxi's that are outside waiting when you leave the Terminal to head to the airport.  We used one on our 1st cruise but not sure if it would hold 5 at the most along with luggage.  There were 4 of us in a Taxi van.   Have you checked with Carnival to see if something could be arranged with them for a shuttle?  If they can't accomodate you, try google to see if there are any business's with shuttle type service that you are looking for that could pick you all up at the Terminal.  You could also consider splitting up and taking taxi's and if everyone chipped in on the taxi fares that might be your best and possibly cheapest way to go.  I would not want to have to wait for a shuttle to show up with that large of a group and all the luggage that will need to be transported as well. 

Both times we flew from Miami and had flights home about 1pm.  If you can't find a reliable shuttle, I do konw that the taxi's are right there and you will get to the airport in time to catch your flight.  That always gave us a little extra time to grab lunch before the flight left too.  Even tho it is a large airport, it seemed easy to manuver thru.  We also used our cell phones if we got seperated.
