Just got off the Triumph.The 25 cents slots along the wall of the sports bar were paying out pretty good.

Just returned from our farewell trip on the Holiday and I won $1000 on a quarter slot machine!  My hubby was very happy....lol.

I have a probably a stupid question.  I hear people say to use the S&S card for the casinos so you can get money from your S&S account and have winnings downloaded to that account.  From what I read the OPC is separate and you can have your winnings (if your lucky) on that card and cash out at the end of the cruise so it's separate and no surprise to the S&S account if you lose more than you think.  Is there really an OPC card?  I would rather keep gambling separate from S&S since I have read the mchines don't actually give you money back on some or most ships.

I have always kept the money for the casino seperate and hear that now you use your S&S Card.  I also think that the machines still do take cash but if you win, those winnings will go on your S&S Account but you can go to the Cashier in the casino and get paid from them.  I hope I have this right as I feel the same as you do and want to keep casino money seperate from the S&S Account.  I also play roulette sometimes and wonder if they still use cash and chips at the tables?  I did pretty good on roulette on our last cruise. 

your OPC card is on your S&S card, you put in info and set the account up.  you can use cash to fund the casino account or you can pull funds from your S&S account.   if you run out of money on the casino account it will not just add things to your S&S account.

Hey there way to go and it's always nice to hear that someone wins in the casino.  Glad you didn't give it back to them too cause many people can and do play it all back.  Glad I am one who walks away with winnings also.

thanks for help!  This clears things for me. It's nice to have the Carnival Family to help clear things up.  I just like keeping track of my gambling - LOL so I can tell my husband when I get a head (and it does happen....surprisingly).  I sail on Sunday and just can't wait.   

If you use your S&S card in the slots instead of cash, you'll be charged however much you take out to play, plus 3%.  When you cash out your winnings, you'll be paid in cash.

I have been saving all my change for the slots. Can you still use coins on the Glory?

On the Legend last March there was not a 3% charge for money downloaded into the slots.  I did notice if you were buying chips for the tables there was a charge.

 If you use a credit card to pay your S&S bill and use your S&S card to play the slots you can debit your card to get more cash for the slot machine you are playing,there will not be a 3% charge and it will show up on your S&S bill as entertainment.But if you play the tables and use it to get cash,you will be charged the 3%.A word of caution,if you do use your S&S card to fund your slot machine be careful because you can easily spend alot more money than you wanted.
