My first time on a cruise, my friend who's coming with has cruised on a different line before. Anyone else going over Christmas? And is anyone else planning on Randi's Happy Horses in Mazatlan? We just made reservations this morning!

My daughter and I will be on the Christmas cruise. We are still trying to figure out which excursions we want to do. We are very excited about it. I have been on several cruises all Carnival.

Have you been on this ship or done a Mexican cruise with Carnival before? I'm excited since I'm new to cruises. A number of people recommended the horseback riding excursion with Randi's Happy Horses. And I can't resist the dolphin one, already booked it. My friend's doing one if the hikes in PV, I think, though she hasn't booked it yet. Too many choices!

My husband and I will also be on the Splendor on Dec 20.  Have not planned any excursions yet, the horseback riding does sound fun!  "CaliforniaCanuck" where from Canada are you from, we are flying into LAX from Winnipeg.

My travel partner is flying down from Hamilton the day befoe the cruise. Mexico should be a nice break from Winnipeg in the winter. :-) One of my co-workers here is a Winnipeg native.

My husband and I are flying in from New Jersey the day before.  After the cruise we are meeting family in Las Vegas then it is off to Reno and more family for New Years.  Packing should be interesting.... summer clothes for Mexico- winter for Reno!  Oh, well.. it is vacation!
