Does anyone know if they serve bud light lime on the triumph?

I have no idea if they do but if they dont, bring a case in your carry-on! we did this with sodas and beer on our last cruise. (not to mention its a whole lot cheaper than paying their prices)

I have heard of people doing this but do they not check the carry on? also what if you put it in your suite case?

they only check the carryons with a scanner, they dont seem to be strict at all when it comes to this and some beverages are allowed to be brought on, just dont go over the top (like a 12pack would be ok) i wouldnt put it in ur suitcases unless u want to run the risk of all your clothes being soaked in beer if they bust it by throwing them around. your suitcases are handled simular to airports and you do not keep them with you when you board, have to check them in.

How did you get it through security?

Don't try to sneak it onto the boat, been there, tried that, didn't work.  I did find out that you can call Carnival and purchase liquor and have it waiting in your room.  Unfortunately I didn't find that out until recently.  I could of saved A LOT of money if we would of done that, buckets of beer add up real quick!  I think they are talking mostly about bottles of rum, vodka, etc.  The prices are quite affordable!!!
