I just reserved a room from Holiday Inn Port and just wanted too know if everything is within walking distance too the bayside market and all the stores and resteraunts and also if the area was safe for people on vacation.

The Bayside Marketplace is right across the (rather wide) streeet. It's about a 150 yard walk to get there.

and also if the area was safe for people on vacation.

It's safe enough to walk from the hotel to the Marketplace. The parking lot seemed secure enough. I wouldn't necessarily go walking around downtown at night just to explore.

the bayside market place is just across the street,we went last nov ,feltsafe  so safe that we have booked again for 3 days this time ,going on thursday 29th our cruise is on the 1stnov o9.
