Doing triple backs as a surprise for my hubby's b-day. Have family and friends on the first 2 legs, running solo the last week-end. Anyone else coming along?

I won't be along, but I just did triple backs September 21, 25, 28th.  We had an absolute blast.

We'll be sure to have at least one drink!! I can't wait to tell him, the surprise is killing me!! 18 more days.

Where are you going the end of Dec?

 We'll be aboard on the 12/7 trip to the Western Caribbean.

I'll be on board the 12/4 sailing with my friend, celebrating her birthday.  I hope she likes the cruise, it will be her first.

 Hi, must be Sally!  My name's Jackie.  My friend Linda will be having a birthday, not exactly on the cruise but this sailing fit best with her child care arrangements.  

 If worse comes to worst, we can always just look at floor plans & pick a lounge - I'm hoping though someone can suggest a good place to meet before we are down to the wire for the cruise.

 I've read if you post on John Heald's blog, he can be very helpful in arranging a meet & greet.  When I called carnival to see about trying to arrange one for the other cruise I have booked, I really got nowhere.   

good morning Jackie...on the cc boards, I nominated someone(David)  to set up a time and place but he has not responded yet. If I don't hear back soon, I will take your advise and look at floor plans.

I am patiently...okay not so patiently counting days. Hubby's birthday (40) is actually on the 8th but this cruise fit into our hectic schedules. We are soooooooo ready for some r and r and lots of fun in between.

Thanks for your post...you got us thinking. Since we live in Nassau, we'll just board the ship here with a semi "back to back" cruise and avoid the flight over to Miami.

Hi Sally, and hi to all the others too on the roll call - we haven't really planned anything for the cruise so far.  I think for nassau we will just explore the town, try doing a walking tour.  I've looked up a few sites look worthwhile, andastra gardens, fort charlotte, and the Dig.  

We might head back for dinner on the ship since it is formal night, and then go out again to see what the night life is like.  

I love being on a cruise, I know I'll find lots of fun things. Taking an exercise class or if there are any dance classes that would be even better.  

How about you - anything planned so far?  

It's been raining, cold and miserable here in the seattle area for days.  I need to rake up leaves but I'm being a wuss and hoping I can hold out until they dry out and get less heavy and gross.  Miami and nassau will be a nice break from this!

good day eh!!  Greetings from Canada.  Hate to say it but our weather has not been too bad. The leaves are still coming down but a quick sweep with the bagger on the lawn mower fixes that. We are having cool mornings but hovering around 50 for most of the day. Layering your clothing is a must.  One good thing about rain...at least you don't have to shovel it.!!

The days are winding down and it won't be long now. We are ready to go now. Not too many plans for the trip. We are doing the dolphin encounter in Nassau. Not too pricy and it sounds like a good time.

The exercise class would be up my alley. Still doing weight watchers so I will need to compensate for the extra calories consumed. I am considering the behind the fun tour. Not too sure...depends on time.

 Looking forward to meeting everyone. Someone please pick a time and place!!!

 The Dig (which is the aquarium at Atlantis Resort) is delightful. Subterranean tunnels guide you through the artifacts and displays that highlight the fantastic varieties of underwater sea creatures. Since we live in Nassau, it is a favorite among our family visitors. Paid admission is required during the day because it is part of the water park that is open until 5 PM. If you visit Paradise Island, don't miss a trip to the nearby "Cloisters" built in the 14th century in France, then brought to the Bahamas by Randolph Hearst. A quick taxi ride from the cruise ship will get you there, admission is free, and you can walk around on your own. We'll see you on the ship! The weather today in Nassau is expected to reach 86 and the winds are calm. Ahhhh...

Wet feet--We have been to the water part a couple of times and will be back to your great town in July is there a good beach we could take in with just a cab ride from the ship?
