    CARNIVAL SPIRIT

Hi!  We did the 12 days cruise from Hawaii to Vancouver, BC on Carnival Spirit - April 2009.

Excellent cruise!  I would do it again!  We had a balcony, first time ever!  Enjoyed the balcony during our 5 days at sea, after brekky would go on the balcony to read and relax until Lunch time.

Dinning Room food was fabulous, always a great choice.  When I cruise I eat as much seafood as possible!  Desert - awesome!  My father loves the 24 hrs ice cream machine!

Loved the islands, my favorite was Maui.  The ship was great and the staff was superb! unfortunately our cruise came to an end  after 12 days!

crossing the Pacific Ocean was a little rough, the ship was great you just had the feeling of being a little drug, we didn't get sea sick, the dining room was always full at diner time.  Carnival Spirit was a great ship!  Loved Tea Time in the afternoon!  Very popular once the word got around, you had to get there 10-15 minutes early or you would stand.

The whole cruise was a ++++++.

Hi!  You could sit 2 people on the balcony, 3 would be tight!  We were 3 in our room.  At first Dad used the balcony at the beginning of the cruise after returning from our excursions and before diner.  Then once we left Hawaii crossing the Pacific after brekky I was on the balcony - you are sheltered from the wind - in the morning.

Enjoy your cruise!  Don't forget tea time when you are at sea - usually around 3:00 p..m. in the afternoon, look at your daily caper.

    which cruise are you doing?

    Re: CARNIVAL SPIRIT

Hi!  actually Carnival has the largest cabins compared to all other cruise lines - unless of course if you have a mini-suite or suite.  If you  have an inside, ocean view or balcony suites, there is a lot of room, you usually have 2 single beds (or 1 large bed), a love seat and a chair.  Carnival has it set up that it flows well compared to other cruise lines set up of the room.

we just did the Vancouver to Hawaii cruise also,,,,it was INCREDIBLE!

our favorite place to hang out was The Fantail Bar/ Deck,,,,,sat there in the early morning  at 5:30 am having coffee and watching a few others do the same,,,was always a place to sit and sun and usualy met up with several friends,,,this cruise was GREAT!

we had a balcony cabin and we always will..room for 3 ,,,2 comfortable on that balcony.

and the laundry room was just down the hall,,we were on deck 4 aft / port side and LOVED it,,,,

have a great cruise,,,,,,,enjoy your self and look for PuTu,,,he is the server on the Fantail and a really great guy!
