    park and cruise hotels

just wondering if anyone knows of a hotel that allows you to keep your car there for the duration of the cruise and provides transportation to and from the ship???  Cruising on the Freedom in January and trying to avoid the parking fees at the port if I can.  Thanks in advance for any help :)

    Re: park and cruise hotels

We are leaving this coming saturday Nov 21 and also would be interested if anyone has a tip about this question.  I know that the parking at the Ft Lauderdale port is one of the cheapest, but it would be nice if someone knows of a hotel that allow us to park for free if we stayed a night there. Thank you

When we cruise out of FLL we stay at the Ramada Cruise Port.  If you stay overnight, which we always do the night before the cruise begins, they have free transportation to the port the morning of the cruise (they also pick us up from the airport for free).  I know they will let you park for free for the nights you are staying with them and I believe they have a program where they will allow you to park for a fee on nights you do not stay with them because they always ask me if I would like a parking space when I make my reservation.  I have no idea what they charge but I believe they do offer a parking program.

I have stayed at the Ramada twice and will be staying there again in Mach for my cruise on  the Freedom.  They do have a program where you can leave you car and then call them when the cruise is over and they come and get you.  Two friends did it the last time we sailed out of Port Everglade.  Also, we discovered that if you walk about 2 1/2 city blocks away from the highway, there is a marina that has an oudoor restaurant and bar.  The food is good and the view is really nice.

We have stayed at the SpringHill Suites in Fort Lauderdale (I think if you go on www.marriott.com and bring up FLL hotels it comes up although its address is Dania Beach) and they will do airport and cruiseport shuttles and have a great complimentary breakfast too.  LMP

    Re: park and cruise hotels

Just wanted to thank everyone for their responses.  I found out that Confort Suites and Roadway Suites, have free shuttle to the port and airport and free parking for up to 10 days.  Who can beat that?  I wanted to stay in the Confort Suites but is full, so we are staying in the Roadway Suites.  Hope is ok.  I will let you know.

Again, thank to all for your responses and sugestions.
