I have cruised several times in the past, but this will be their very first time.

Just wanted to see who else is going just to say " Hi "

And any tips from other cruisers who have travelled with small children in the past? 

Hi ! MY boyfriend and I are going on our 3rd cruise and will be on the ship. It is our second with carnival. I TOTALLY enjoyed my last cruise with carnival earlier this year and expect to have a great time again. I would  ignore all the horror stories you have heard. The trip will be what you make of it.

Thank you for the kind words, and re-assurance. I have sailed with Carnival several times before and always had fun.

This is the first time my wife and child will be going.

And since this is really to celebrate my wife’s birthday, I just want her to enjoy everything.

I can’t wait though the days are just moving to slow lol.

Guess we will be seeing you guys there.

Hello everyone...seems like there are quite a few birthday celebrations going on.  My wife booked this cruise for my birthday (Nov 16).  This will be our 4th cruise this year.  "Traveler" I wouldn't worry about the horror stories...our previous trips were 7 day cruises and we never felt inconvienced by any of the kids/babies on board.  On another subject...we've always planned stuff in the past so this time we are just gonna "free lance" when we get to port.  Anyone have any ideas/suggestions on activities when we dock?

• My BF and I are not planning any activities this time either but we have done nassua before. We did have a blast with it though when we were here. We rented a scooter and just sorta explored by ourselves. It was a blast and driving on the left side of the road was a bit fun too.

Oh yeah...a friend a work told me him and his wife rented to scooters.  That sounds like fun.  Did you each rent one? or ride together?  Riding to the beach would be cool!

We just rented the one and road together they were a pretty good size.

so now its 10 days before we sail, 9 days till we leave for florida and 8 days till we get off work to start our vacation, we are getting close now, everyone is excited. been putting off doing my funpass as long as i could so i would feel i had alot left to do and a little time to do it, guess its that time now. still need to decide on excursions. i welcome any advice.

my mother and i  and sister are going  on the sensation nov 15 we are very excited this is our first  cruise i hope we all have a great time.

man, its monday morning actually its almost noon. the 15th will be here very soon. i didnt sleep well last night, when i closed my eyes i could picture the ship, im so excited.we are bringing 6 first time cruisers with us, i am just as excited for them. i wonder if the second cruise is better than the first? if its just as good thats good enough. i know i am going to over eat next week, i have already come to peace with it. i am still looking at excusions and still welcome advice and comments. i turn 43 while on this cruise and besides the fact that ill be missing my grandbabies life is great. hope everyone enjoys the cruise as much as i plan too.
