Was this an actual cabin picture? I thought they put in flatscreen tvs?  What about the food?  What was so-so?  I read a review from a trip about 2 weeks ago they thought the food was good except for the buffett.   Said it was too greasy.    They liked the MOngolian thing the best.

 I have been on the Paradise on this cruise for the past 4 years and will be going again on Nov. 2nd. 4 years ago there was myself and my husband then 3 years ago it was us and 8 of our closest friends.  Last year it turned out being a group of 24 and this year there is a group of 45 people going together.  Are you starting to see a pattern here???  LOL  I have never had a bad experience with the ship or the crew or the food or anything.  We go and have a great time.  Needless to say if we didn't I sure as heck would not be 44 other people with me on it!  I guess you can say that my friends got "the bug" and I'm sure yours will too.  Good luck and hope you have a good time on the Paradise.  I hope this helps you.  Rita

Do try the Reuben sandwich in the deli (we get double meat and double cheese, then split the sandwich - cuts down on the bread).  The deli is in the buffet area.  We always have a Reuben and a Pina Colada when we board the ship at embarkation - the MDR is closed on that day.  Desserts are excellent, but not everyone likes everything...  We are not crazy about the burgers at the grill, but the fries and onion rings are good!  On your first sea day, be sure to order the Mongolian Steak Salad in the MDR.  Try all the delicious cold soups along with the hot soups that appeal to you.  I'm getting really hungry now!

I found a video on youtube of one of the dinning  rooms flooding (2008) because of a burst pipe for the pool.  I forwarded to my friend to build his confidence.

 

 

Thanks for the tip on the Reuben!  I was on the Paradise in August, and had a Reuben each day of our cruise.  I plan to do the same for our upcoming Paradise cruise as well, but this time w/double meat & double cheese thanks to you!

"FLAT SCREEN" TV is in the box in the corner, above the corner table. This was our cabin this past week on the Paradise. We had 3 people in the room, with no bunks, as we are all too old to climb up, so they store the cot under the left-hand been & roll it to the right side, feet under the desk. As for food, I liked it. There was always something I could eat & I'm a picky eater. Deserts were a disappointment - no creme boule. Chocolate Melting cake was over-cooked the first 2 nights, then melted properly. didn't eat much at the buffet, except for yogurt & egg beaters for b-fast, & cookies & fruit & ice-cream mid-day. Stayed away from pizza (for diet's sake!).

Hey Cheryl...were the hot tubs working when you were on the Paradise?  All of them were down for our August cruise.
