Has anyone had experience with the luggage express program?  Traveling 11/28 on liberty and needing info. if it is worth the extra dough !!!! We have a late pm flight out of Fort Lauderdale, which we booked on our own, and don't want to sit all day in the airport. We were going to get our own transportation from the port to FLL...  Would help if we could stay on board and be some of the last off !!!!

Anyone got any items? .... only 63 days until we sail... Can't wait.

Hey motraveler! You can stay on the ship until they kick you off pretty much. On the day before your last day on the ship, heading back to port, opt to carry your luggage off the ship yourself. That way you don't have to leave it outside your room to be taken off and sorted by the staff. They give you the option. Then, when you get to port, take your time getting up, when you're all packed and ready to leave your room finally, take everything with you, go get some lunch, and enjoy your last hours on the ship. Then get off the ship when you're ready. You do have to be off at a certain time because of the next vacationers getting on, but you can go by your own schedule and not rush.

You could check on renting a car for the day instead of using luggage express.  We rented from Dollar last time, and they have a free shuttle to/from the Airport to the Port.  The cost of renting a car for the day may be less expensive than paying for Luggage Express and then transportation back to the airport, and it would give you the freedom to do whatever you want.
