How to get to SanDiego Pier from Airport

Hi, We'll be taking the Carnival Elation from San Diego and i am debating whether to fly in or drive from Northern Calif. Is there any ride or shuttle service from airport to port? or cheap taxi?

    Any help is appreciated.

I'm in Redding, driving to Sac and flying SWA to SD.  Tomorrow.  I just talked with some friends who flew in who told me to take the holiday inn shuttle to hotel, it is free and they don't ask.  They are staying there tonight.  If you want taxi, my research said it was about 10 bucks.  It is about 2.6 miles from airport.

Don't bother trying for a shuttle. Take a taxi for the short distance; it'll be at or under $10 for the 7 minute ride.

I agree with Matt. Much easier to take a cab straight to the pier.

Matt. what is this on your signature mean?  Proud member of the short .sig club.

I followed the example of several others by trimming all the cruise counters and history out of my signature (.sig). I thought it would be nicer to others to not have to scroll through the bunch of lines of "stuff" to get to the next post. My signature was particularly bad earlier this year when I had three cruises on the calendar.

I still have the icewine at Sally's.

Matt, I asked someone about Ice Wine and they said it is a very sweet after dinner, dessert wine. Wonder what would be a good pairing for the wine.

I still have one bottle of wine left from the bevmo sale that is going on the cruise with me. I hid it and now found it, wonder if it will make it another 11 days.
