Maybe we should just leave it open and call it "Carnival Music Bands Groupie Club"?  Something like that anyway.  It can be like a chat room for anyone who wants to talk about their favorite Rock Band.   What do you think?

So are you serious about trying to get a new user group added? I was just joking, but it  really isnt a bad idea. Also it would be an room where people can locate the ship their favorite bands are on. That is the number one question asked about the bands.  I just havent seen many new postings regarding the bands lately. So maybe there should be a thread added first for example, Who's your favorite Carnival music band?  Just to get an idea of the number of responses. 

We could test it out here.  We already have 3 groups, Music Society, Music Motion and Music Boardwalk.  Porschemon said he'll do a review of the band when he gets back from his December cruise.  I've tried it a couple of times on Cruise Critic but it really didn't fly.  Your title is as good as any to start with.  Another title I was thinking about was All things Music Bands.???  Let me know.  We can see how this flies because you're right the number one question is what ship are they on......

I think this is a great idea.  My husband and I are groupies for Music Asia. We think they are the best. We try to find out what ship they are playing on so we can go see them. I am waiting to hear from Robert the drummer to see what ship they are going to be on for there new contract. Thanks

Welcome to the groupie club.  You know how LoversRock and I feel. LOL  I became friendly with Enrique of Music Boardwalk and he even phoned me when he got home to the Philippines.  We've been e-mailing and trying to stay in touch.  He promises to let me know as soon as he hears and then I'll post it.  That's the hard part waiting to hear. I didn't think that you could befriend them but I've been proven wrong.  They are really nice guys and sincere.  I also have heard about Music Asia and there's also Music Network, Music Manila, Music Unlimited, etc.  Boy Ike is a busy manager.  Keep us posted.

See.......look at what I started with "Which band is the Music Society Band on?" thread...lol This is great! I was wondering already before I started this thread why there was no place to find out which band is on which ship. We have been trying to find them even before our last cruise (Dec 2008) We just recently discovered cornival connections. And now talking with all of you about bands it was very simple to find them.....it's just finding the right people that have the knowledge. A "Music Band Groupies" catagory is what Carnival Cruisers need. If you follow bands at all, which I think lots of people do, then it makes sense for Carnival to offer a catagory to meet their needs. We are already in the very early stages of planing our next crusie.......hopefully upon the Victory from San Juan (Southern(Dec 2011)) But we would like to know which band is going to be on the ship. In the same breath. We were tole that Music Society will be leaving the Liberty Feb. 2010 (two months after we sail with them) So we would like to know which ship they are moving to......because we would also like to sail with the Dream. If we Knew which ship which band is on.....it might make things easier to decide! lol

Lets get this "Music Band Groupies" catagory on it's feet!

Hi Porschemon, since you started this post anyway, I elect you to start the thread. I've started it a in a couple of places but it didn't last long.  I like your title for it anyway and I know you would be good at this.  We could all post in on your thread from time to time and let you know the lastest news on their where abouts.  This could be a fun thing to do.  Thanks for starting this thread Porschemon.
