    What to do before cruise?

Our plane gets  into the airport at 9:00 a.m. and I am not sure what to do until we can board the ship (12:30 from what I understand) but we will also have our luggage!

Get to the port early, hand your luggage to the porters, check in and be one of the first on the boat.

Desperately seeking 10th cruise for the free laundry.

Re: What to do before cruise?

Hope for the best, but plan for the worse.

There is a good chance that your plane may be delayed. Be sure to have trip insurance just in case it is delayed more than four hours. Which is not uncommon.

Also, it will take at least a half hour after you get off the plane until you retrieve your luggage. Unless you are doing all carry-on.

Then there is the time to get to the port from the airport. If Carnival is handling your transfers, you will have to wait until the bus is filled before it leaves the airport.

So, I would just plan on getting off the plane and going straight to the ship. If you have to wait to board the ship, you should be one of the first. In that case, go to the Lido deck, have lunch. Be sure to pack you bathing suit in your carry-on and you can hit the pool.

When you get to the port, the porters will check your luggage for you and it will be delivered to your cabin-hopefully before dinner.

Great ship the Glory.  We have been on the Glory and the Legend and hands down the Glory is the better ship.  Enjoy your 40th.
