Can anyone recommend a place within walking distance to Radisson for dinner?  How is restaurant in hotel? 

I've heard that some of the rooms at the hotel are kinda retro and others are more up to date.  Is there particular building(s) that are nicer then the rest?

If you get the suite you should get a decent room...pretty sure these are all up to date.  We went to the restaurant in the hotel for breakfast and it was pretty good.  There are a ton of restaurants down there and even if you don't want to walk as I don't think too many are right there, a cab is only a few bucks!

Congratulations on the honeymoon and 1st cruise!  We stayed at the Radisson before this last cruise (9/11-12).  The rooms have "sleep number" beds that adjust for either side.  The hotel food was terrific for the buffet breakfast (with an omelet station) and the menu dinner.  The wait staff was very knowledgeable of the ingredients and preparation.

Does anyone know if there is a liquor store near by? It would be nice to by the wine for the cruise in Florida.

About 1 mile away or so you can buy wine.

I do know the radisson will shuttle you to  and from restaurant's in there area they did for us last May they can tell you pretty good places to go to get something good to eat and you don't have to pay for a Taxi.

The rooms they were redoing some of them I do know the air was not working in the room we were in but they took care of it.  Besides that it is a nice place to stay we staying there again this Dec 11 for our cruise on Dec 12 .
