Is there one ... what?  Blow dryer?  Depends on the ship.  Some: yes.  Others: no.

    Coffee maker: no.

does anybody have a copy of the room service menue

Google.  But in general, continental breakfast stuff.

can we get a pot of coffee delivered to the room

    Yes.

is ti sold by the cup only?

The only coffee aboard that you will find yourself paying for is the mochafrappuchino nonsense things at the "coffee bar".

Your cabin should have a hair dryer. If it doesn't, simply ask your room steward for one. As for coffee, room service will probably bring you a caraffe of coffee and two cups. It's not SOLD. Room Service is free, except for a few bucks for a tip. The only place you pay for coffee is at the specialty coffee bar. Myself, I prefer to head to the Lido Buffet and bring back a few Danishes and a few cups of coffee to tide us over until we head to sitdown breakfast. Then I have French Toast and two eggs over medium or an omelette, a triple order of crispy bacon, two slices of wheat toast, and some tomato juice and more coffee. I have to go to the Lido Deck Buffet to get a little dish of Jalapenos to take to the Dining Room to get them in my omelette, so I just grab coffee and a few Danishes while I'm there. If you like Jalapenos in your omelette, you need to take a little dish of them to the Omelette Chef Station with you if you eat breakfast at the buffet, or to the Dining Room if you eat sitdown breakfast. They (Jalapenos) are always with the condiments on the end of a line at the Lido Deck Buffet. Have a GREAT cruise!

We love you Kalyn Padget and Rosie Unsworth (our lovely adopted daughters), Amy Barton, Melanie Therrien, TJ, and Rick! The Fun Crew puts the fun in Carnival Cruising! Thank you Butch for being a fantastic CD!

I've only been off the Holiday for a short time, and I'm already having fits of melancholy. I guess unless we can cruise every two months, I'll probably never be satisfied again.

Our 7 YO and 6 YO grandsons decided that they would prefer a Thanksgiving Cruise to Key West and Cozumel on the Destiny to Thanksgiving in Orlando/Kissimmee this November. We must be teaching them well. Thanks for an excuse for my booking another cruise, guys!

We went on two Norwegian Cruise Line Tramp Steamer Cruises - Thank goodness we were too busy on our honeymoon in 1978 to realize how crummy the cruise actually was - Then they ruined our 2007 Hawaii Cruise that was my retirement gift from my wife - Two chances is enough! - Never again!

Our current future dream cruise is 15 days back-to-back on the Freedom / 8-day Eastern (Fort Lauderdale) and the Valor / 7-day Western (Port of Miami) with a 45 minute private shuttle ride in between the two Fun Ships.

My sister likes to sleep much later than I do.  I'll get up and head down to the lido deck, drink coffee, and watch sleepy people stumble out onto the deck.  She usually makes it out after an hour or so and then we have breakfast.  We don't do much with room service because we tend not to be in the cabin.

Thats how every morning starts for me, actually it not coffee but my Diet Mtn Dew that I bring with me.  Give me that and an ashtray and let me wake up.

As for the original posters question ............ I learned after my first cruise to bring my blow dryer with me.

Hey, everyone. Being from Seattle, of course I love my coffee (not BigBucks tho). Can we use the re-fillable beverage cups (purchased on board of course) for coffee or get a fill on ice and top off with tea? saving $$ for more MH cups ya know~!

How much do you folks tip if ordering coffee only from room svc?

The coffee, tea, ice, and ice tea are self-serve and free up on the Lido deck.  You can put it into any cup or mug you like.

I would still tip $5 for room service.  It is just as much work to deliver a tray with coffee, cup, milk, sugars, as it is with any other breakfast.

Can't speak for the other ships, but the Conquest has hairdryers. They are in the desk drawer, and have their own power source.  They are the small, travel size dryers, so if your wife has hair that requires a complicated blow out, it might not be sufficient for her.

I think most rooms have a hair dryer in the drawer.  As for the coffee, I like to work out in the morning while the wife sleeps in.  After the spa I would be on the Lido Deck anyway and bring back her tea and my coffee.  After cruising with the wife several times, this has become our routine.
