We will be on this cruise also. It will be myself, My husband and my three children 14,13 and 9 this is our 10th cruise so we will be V.I.P....WooHoo! We are not doing dinner in the dinning room this cruise it will be a relaxing cruise. Sometimes it is nice to not get a husband and 3 kids ready for formal nights...LOL. We are from southeast texas. Is there anyone else that will have there kiddos with them?

i will have our 9 yr old son with us, would love for him to meet some new friends!

My husband and i will be on this cruise too with our three boys aged 17, 13, and 10.  This is our first cruise as well.  i just happened upon this forum tonight.  We are on deck 8 as well.  I am SO EXCITED!  We skipped Disney this year to try out a cruise for the first time.

 Key West is one of my favorite places, so I am looking forward to that stop!  Any tips for a first timer?

we will be staying the night before, we plan on getting to N O on the friday around noon, taking our 9 yr old to the aquarium or something like that.

I am originally from New Orleans and so we are coming in the night before to stay with family.  The Aquarium is awesome!  If you have never been, you will love it! 

This may be a weird question, but I cannot have sugar.  Do they make any sugar free deserts? 

It is not a weird question...LOL. Yes they do make sugar free desserts. They have it on the menu in the dinning room.

My husband and I are booked for Thanksgiving week.  This will be our first holiday cruise.  We have done other Carnival cruises and one NCL cruise.  We preferred Carnival to the NCL cruise.  We are from the Morgan City, LA  area and will be cruising with my sister and brother in law and another couple.  My husband and I will be on deck 7.  Can't wait til the 21st gets here.

I am very excited as this is my first cruise.  I also just found out that my 89 year old uncle and his wife will be on the same cruise!  That should be neat.  i only see him once a year or so at family events.

My three boys will be in an interior cabin across the hall from our balcony room.  Will they be comfortable or is the cabin extremely tiny???

We had an interior room before and it was tiny, there was not enough room for you to manuver around alot, especially in the bathroom!! but the bathroom is small in all the cabins. There is about 2-3 feet of room on the sides of the bed and maybe 3-4 ft  in front of the bed, and a narrow hallway like space between the bathroom and closets to the door.I think for children it will be fine, you dont really spend alot of time in the room anyway.

Our kids have an inside room and so do we. We have had all 5 of us in a room before. It is small but you only sleep and get dressed in your room. Your kids really wont care...lol.

Hello Vickie.  Me, my husband and son are booked on the 11/21 cruise also.  It is the second for me and my husband but the first for my teenage son.  We are really looking forward to our cruise.  We are on the Verandah deck also.  We are originally from St. Bernard, LA but we now live in Watson, LA. 

I will have my 14 year old son with us.  Have your kids ever been to the teen club?  My son does not want to go but I think he will make new friends and have fun.  He is a bit shy for the first 10 seconds but then he is very outgoing.  Should I push him to try it?

 That is completly up to you. When you get on the ship you will get the week long activities for the kids. THey can come and go as they please to these activities and pick and choose which ones they want to go to. I made my one of my children do it cause of the shy reason. He loves it now! He will get comfortable and probably do it on his own!
