Suggestion for hotels

I know I'm picky but this is my first time in FT Lauderdale and my daughters and I will be there 2 days before my cruise...Any suggestion for hotels that offers shuttle, bk, close to a beach and stores also not too expensive...thank you

I am staying at Hilton hotel on the beach and I got a very good deal on it using my Hilton Honors points. The best part is that it is only a few miles from port. But I do not believe it provides transportation. Have fun!
