    Hotel St. Marie

We stayed one night here after our cruise.  What a great location!!!  Only 1/2 block off of Bourbon Street, but surprisingly quiet.  The staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and roomy, and they have valet parking right next door for I think 24 a night.  The decor is representative of New Orleans and gives you a true Nola feeling.  We paid around 50 per night booking through Hotels.com.  It also has a very nice courtyard with a pool and offers continental breakfast.  I highly reccommend!!!!!

I stayed here as well August 13, 2009. I was pleased with the decor and neatness. I wish I had taken some pics by the pool area. I stayed the day before my cruise, walked to Bourbon Street and had a blast.

I don't think that had a shuttle, when I checked out they hailed me a cab, it wasn't far from the port. Of course the cabbie was driving pretty fast though...lol,
