    Toll Road

Is it true that you receive a time stamp when you get on the toll road from Orlando Airport to Port Canaveral and a time stamp when you get off that will calculate whether or not you were spending and if you were spending you will be issued a speeding ticket?  Also, what are the fees for the toll road?

    Re: Toll Road

We drive down from Tennessee every year and pay the turnpike toll than Beeline expressway.  The tolls are 25, 50 and $1.00 you just have to watch for the upcoming signs to know each toll as you approach them.  But never heard of time stamp?? There is no way to predict how long someone will be, depends on traffic and if you stop along the way.

    Happy cruising

Many toll receipts are time stamped for other reasons, e.g. refunds or people claiming they made a wrong turn and want to reverse direction. Since some of our expessways have on ramps without a toll some follks save the receipts and try to use them on another day.  The speeding ticket version is an urban legend.

Just toll booths were you either throw in the right change or go through the manned booth or if you have a sunpass just drive through.   I cant remember exactly how much it is, but I calculated it at less than $4.00.

    Re: Toll Road

We live in Florida and travel this route frequently.  When we start our trip I just put about $10 in the astray so we can use the exact change lane.  As a previous poster stated, the time stamp is not for calculating speed but for other reasons.  There are other means used for catching speeders in the state of Florida.

Time stamp thing for speeding trickets, not sure, since I have a Sunpass and go thru the disignated lanes.  At this time I have never had any tickets issued.  I will have to post again later, if I should receive any tickets in the future.
