Just got back from my walk and about melted out there. Thats what I get for sleeping in. After years of insomnia sleeping feels sooooooo good.

We have a problem with raccoons here in the campground. I had to call a trapper to rescue one out of our dumpster a couple weeks ago. One of the critters keeps stealing the doggie cookies out of my golf cart. I used to think they were night time creatures but they have been sighted playing here during the day. Had to chase one out of the tent sites the other day.

Better get some sleep Mari.

Good morning everyone- It is a little cool here this morning in Ohio. Sky still overcast. Had some precipitation sometime dury the early morning hours but not sure when. Still have to water grass,garden and plants this morning. Going to Ky. later with my sister to p/u my future niece-in-law. She is flying in from Boston around 1:30PM for the holiday and my sister's BIG 60 tomorrow. Need to get to the store to p/u pork roast to make BBQ pork for it. We had racoons on our roof again for the 2nd night in a row. They are driving my DH crazy!!!(although that's a short trip) I am waiting for the Police to show up sometime since he has been going outside with his flashlight to try to find them. I am sure a neighbor will call them thinking there is a prowler in our yard. That would be "priceless". Have a great day!!!

Hope your future niece-in-law gets in okay. STILL raining buckets here in New Hampshire and just saw on the weather channel up to two hour delays for flights out of Boston.

I'll be working on the 4th, so I am taking today as my holiday since it gives me three days off. All of course have been gray, cool and RAINY and it is supposed to continue through next week.

Last day at work before heading out to LA tomorrow, via Amtrak... and I have a TON of crap to catch up before I leave, oh and I have to pack yet too... I do better packin at the last minute than I do overthinking it for weeks. It's gonna be a hot day out here in the high desert, 92 is the forecasted high, I think it was closer to 100 yesterday. Anywho, how is everyone??

Have a great time on your trip to So Cal and of course on your cruise. Amtrack? Very cool. As a kid we traveled a few times by train and I loved it! Recently checked prices for rail travel from the east coast to California... EEEEEEK.... and that was just one way.

I'm having a craving but it is not for a chicken burrito. I am craving a margarita to go with the bbq ribs my DH made for dinner. I would even settle for a pina colada. I guess I am going to have to buy the fixins for some drinks on my next day off and break out my new blender.
