For any sane individual desiring to take a cruise on any Carnival Line please do not select the Ft Lauderdale dport for departure.  The line for boarding the ship was anguishing and sluggish in proceeding.   The weather for the May 29th departure was extremely hot and no water fountains available and the area is nothing more than a large warehouse with fans.  Herding people in that manner is unacceptable for the price paid to cruise from this port.

Other note:  The Freedom cruise was a pleasureable adventure, the seating dining was supreme and the buffet style eating was so, so. however I must warn all that considers the beach excursion package beware.   This event was a great disappointment and  catering was something that the cruise line personnel should partake of before soliciting to their customers.   Warning, Warning.

we arrived around 1045 others had already checked in and were waiting i would haveto say the process was quick and easy the hardest part is the room not being ready and then the anticipation of waiting on the luggage to arrive other than that the process was quick and painless
