    Aft balcony stateroom question

Are the aft staterooms on the Carnival Legend smaller than the regular balcony staterooms? It appears in the deck layout that they are not as wide. Can anyone comment on these rooms?

    Thanks

On deck 4 they are as wide as a regular balcony, but deeper. From deck 5 up they are slightly smaller in width but larger in depth. Also on deck 4 about 3/4 of the balcony is covered from overhead, but beginning on deck 5 and up it is mostly open. That means your balcony is exposed to the weather (sun, rain, snow???) and also occasional ash from the ships exhaust.

I have stayed in the aft balcony cabins. I would have to say I prefer the wrap around balcony's and deck 4 the best. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, my sister has already booked one on the empress deck for us. It was that or one half way down on the veranda deck, probably should have gone with the veranda deck one, since the cruise is in sept. and the sea could be rough.

I will keep the no cover on balcony in mind and watch for cigs.

my sister says we can still switch to veranda deck, is there any benefit to this it would also be an extended balcony.

    Hi,

We had an aft balcony room on the Legend and it was great!  We were on the Empress deck and I never had any problems either from cigs or engine, etc.  The balcony was plenty big for us and the view was amazing!
