Thank you for that info!!  I think it will be in dry dock before they move it...that is what they usually do.  I'm excited for it will be my first 7 day cruise!!

 will they let you know either way?(carnival ,price adjustment claim)        what time do you think is best to board the ship? we are still trying to decide if we want to drive or stay the night before, i think its about a 4 hour drive

It took two days to get a reply and I did get the upgrade plus OBC.  We usually get to port around 11 and are still "late" if you want to call it.  I won't go before then just in case the boat is late. When we came back the last time into Mobile we were not in port until 1pm due to a storm. 

If you only have a four hour drive I would just go that morning and save the hotel money.  It's right off the interstate, so it's very easy to get to.

I always over pack...LOL

We generally take two large ones and leave extra room for stuff that we buy.  Then of course we are always carrying those white boxes that are oh so heavy....we love to buy our rum while on board.

 You can always go on line and buy fun ship dollars.  Take the certificates with you and they will apply them or you may be able to do it on linewith your booking number.

You had to call who ever you booked with if the rate dropped. They will not call you.

If you do not know then noone will.  Take less clothes then you were planning and more money then you were planning and a great attitude and passports.

 

 I need some help determing if i am eligible for a price adjustment! Can anyone help me? I am on the Sept 17th cruise, whereis the for that i need to fill out to recieve the upgrade or cash back!

What I do it go to the Carnival website and act just as though I was looking for the exact same cruise I am going on.  Check all the boxes that apply and see what the price is compared to what you paid.  If you are logged on it won't give you the prices sometimes because it knows that you are already booked for that cruise.

 Thank you for your last response, I took your advice and went to the site and pretended to find a cruise to book, however the date and number of passengers show N/A on the two categories called Fun Saver and Cash Back.  Fun select is the only thing available for interior and it is $249, however oceanview has all three categories open with prices ranging from 229-279. What should i do in this situation? Should i compare the rate that i paid for my interior UPPER room to the Fun Select price? Thank You for all of your help!

Yes take the price that you paid and compare it to whatever category you qualify for. If it's cheaper, fill out the price guarantee form and they will contact you.  They should upgrade you to ocean-view and give you OBC.

I booked Early Saver and now Past Guest is cheaper with upgrade.  Good luck~

Ok, so I was excited when I got up graded two decks....well now I am really excited...Guarentee Ocean-view just dropped to $199 so now I will get a Ocean-view room!!!  Anyone who already booked this cruise and isn't watching the prices is losing a good bit of money and if you haven't booked yet and are thinking of it....do it!!  This is a great deal, five days for under $500, don't think I could go on vacation anywhere for that little!

 Instead mine went up again, Ha Ha, i paid 224 for a upper deck interior stateroom and now its up to $294
