Re: Stateroom Cleaning ...A few questions

Thanks Joan. I know how busy the stewards are and im not going to complain about little things. Now if my room is a real mess ill say something(of course) but im sure there are many people who go on these cruises and just look for problems. I know its not cheap to go on these cruises and people save for a long time, but to expect everything to be 100% perfect is just stupid. Theres always someone in the group that has to be a pain in the "you know what" and try to get something for free or just love to hear themselves complain. Im not like that. Happy Cruising everyone.

We've been on 3 cruise on 3 different ships, and in each one I was mighty impressed by the stateroom stewards and how well they cleaned our stateroom twice a day.

I do not plan vacations with the intent on doing housework while I am on them!

I think Carnival does an excellent job in keeping the ship spotless.   On my 3 Carnival cruises, I have seen Carnival employees constantly cleaning and wiping down the ship.  My staterooms have been clean.  On my last cruise I did smell smoke residue in my room and told the steward...  He (Sergei) came in (after finding out when I would be leaving for dinner) and took care of the problem very well.  He even stopped by to ask me if the smell was gone (it was).  Needless to say I left them a very good extra bit.   I absolutely love Carnival.   Like others have said, if you go looking for problems you will find them...

Re: Stateroom Cleaning ...A few questions

I am not a cleaning on a cruise, but one thing I do pack is some of those "Stick-ups" air freshners.  They don't take up much room, are lightweight, just sit in the bathroom (don't sick up) & if needed wave a little. Without vent fans in the bathroom they help keep the personal odors away & when we do not have a balcony, just help freshen the air.
