    Water Temp in Bahama's October 31-Nov. 5

Cruising October 31, 2009, Out of Jacksonville, Fla. 5 Day Cruise.  Ports are Halfmoon Cay and Nassau, I have been trying to find out out what the water temp will be like at this time! Would appreciate any response! I know a lot of you folks have been addicted to cruising longer than I have! I still have lots to learn! Any Advice is appreciated! Never been to Bahamas. Only been to Key West & Calica, Mexico, on first cruise! The second Key West, Grand Cayman & Ocho Rios Jamaica. Both were great! Thanks For your help!

How does bath water warm sound?  I live in Myrtle Beach, SC which is several hundred miles north of Nassau and it's still PLENTY warm here at that time of year.  Because of the currents, the water stays warm late into the year on the southeastern coast - much later than the air does!  We even get people swimming here on Christmas - course they're usually from "up north" - us locals don't go quite THAT nuts but it IS tolerable that late in the year.  Don't worry about the end of October, it'll be fine to swim in!
