    TRAVELING COST FOR INFANT???

At what age do you get charged for an infant? how much?  We are setting up our cruise and they quoted me a regular charge for bringing my 7 month old daughter?

She doesnt eat "normal" food, shes on formula, so she doesnt drink cow's milk, and she would be sleeping with us in our bed, so why would I be charged for my infant?

they do not give infants a break.... they start to charge them  at 6 months which is the youngest they are allowed to cruise.

check with MSC  they are suppose to let kids sail free

Another cruise line that allows kids under a certain age to cruise for 'free'.

    Re: TRAVELING COST FOR INFANT???

We are taking our son and his gf with their baby in December on the Valor, she will be 11 months old. Carnival charged us $72.00 for her cruise but the tax and port charges are $289.00 the most she will eat is a bit of juice, milk and maybe cherios! We are bringing her food, I think carnival should rethink charging for small children, they might get more crusers in the end and make more money!Yes

as it is right now... carnival ships sail at full capacity... so until that changes I am sure they will continue to charge for infants.... and parents will have to make the choice if they want to cruise or not.... but  I think carnival makes more money on people who are not with infants...because I would think that when the baby goes to sleep they would be in the cabin with the baby... while without a baby people tend to stay up later and spend more onboard.  but I could be wrong.
