    marlene:

WOW!!!!!!  I'm thanking the" cruise gods" that she hated carnival so much that I never have to worry that she might be sitting across the table from me at dinner some day.  THANK YOU  THANK YOU THANK YOU..........Marlene

    Marlene ~

I'm betting many of us are thanking those same gods!    Like I said in my post way back to the original poster, I think wannabe "high society" and they just won't let her/it into their ranks.

The Inspiration, as always had a great time on the back to backs I did in November... From the sounds of it, I don't think there is any way she/it could have possibly been on the same ship I was on!   LOL

I have to agree! I'm very thankful I won't have to worry about running into her on my future Carnival cruises! We probably would be considered blue collar even though my husband wore a white collar for 45 years on a production line. He probably made the baby food her children ate. A person with real class would state their opinion without putting down others! I meant I agree with Marlene's remarks about 4vicci not about the Inspiration being a dump. I don't believe any Carnival ship is a dump. If you are on a cruise how can you not enjoy it!!!!!!!!

I just read this ENTIRE thread and D A M N I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I would give to strap Vicci on the Inspiration's ANCHOR and drag her across the ocean floor, but then again she would probably float with all that HOT AIR in her head!!!!!!!!!!

    Dear Vicci,

We the Monkeyheads are pooling our blue collar dollars to get you a suite on the TITANIC! There is no cell/internet charges, sea food is fresh every night, and there is an excelent view of the ocean.

    Love,

    The Monkeyheads!

    P.S.

FYI: I'm the "Blue Collar" Firefighter that you call when your PRINCESS  A S S dials 911.

Hey I agree with cruiser4life . What would America be without "BLUE COLLAR" workers ? How would we have a car to drive, or a house to live in , or food to eat ? I mean where does she think everything comes from . Maybe she can wave her magic wand and everything appear out of nowhere But here in the real world everything is made and delivered through "BLUE COLLAR" jobs . So I am proud of being in this category. You know the group Alabama sang a song thanking all the people of the blue collar jobs instead of putting them down.

Not that I need to add much more than any one else at this point, but me and my blue collar husband feel EXTREMELY blessed to finally being able to go on our first cruise. And I have to say, that even I knew that the internet and spa was expensive and I haven't even been on a ship yet! And frankly, anyone who can afford to spend that much on art shouldn't have a problem with a 24 dollar internet bill. Wouldn't that just be pocket change for you?

Not to beat a dead horse or Vicci for that matter. We met this couple at port a lil while back and they purchased a Picasso off the ship...... $74,000!!!!

They later invited us back to their cabin, I'm not sure what kind of suite it was...... but it fit three or four of my ocean views in it!!!

The point is for  a week of sailing with this couple that were beyond Vicci X 100 financially. Not once did they ever act as if they were above anything or anyone, crew included.  Its not what we have that defines us, but what we do with what we have that does.

I will be traveling on my 5th cruise as well, 2nd time on the Inspiration.  I LOVE CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES.  I have known people that have tried other lines and said that some of the differences are the entertainment is worse on other lines and the people are just not as fun.  (Basically a ship full of Viccis)  What I love is if you are so smart and so elegant, why do you still have credit card debt?? I am a poor old blue collar single income father that could have paid $1800 in cash... Only because I am on vacation and I was planning on spending that much.  Just because you had to update your Tweets or make an off-shore banking call, (which I doubt you did... your husband was a doctor... you are a stay at home wife probably)  Opinions are able to be spoken, but you should think about how your opinions come off make you look foolish.  Remember next time you post on a vacation site (FUN+NO WORRIES+LAY BACK+LOOSEN UP)- NORMAL DOUSH-BAGGINESS= A GREAT TIME NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE!!!

When did you sail on the Inspiration?  We were on the Glory in December and are sailing the Inspiration on July 27.  Joseph was our matre'd on the Glory!  I would love to think that he is now on the Inspiration.  At the time the Glory was going to be relocating and Joseph didn't know his new ship.

My kids will be so excited if he's on this ship now.  He made meals so much fun for them!

We were on the Glory in December and are sailing the Inspiration on July 27.  Joseph was our matre'd on the Glory!  I would love to think that he is now on the Inspiration.  At the time the Glory was going to be relocating and Joseph didn't know his new ship. We had George the supercharged Matre'd. I think Joseph was in the other dining room. We were in the Carnevale Dining Room.

My kids will be so excited if he's on this ship now.  He made meals so much fun for them! George made the meals so fun for our kids as did our head waiter Anthony and the assistant waiter Mriza (Mirza was the best). My 5 year old and 8 year old looked forward to seeing them every night.

    Re: Inspiration-What a Dump!

I'm taking my family on the Inspiration on August 20th, it'll be my 2nd cruise but first time on Inspiration. I've read so many good things about the ship that seeing comments like the one that started this thread just really puzzles me. I don't get people like that. I'm going on the cruise to have fun and enjoy my time, seems to me it's counterproductive if you go into it with the kind of attitude this person obviously had. ~H
