Yes, indeed, I did a lot of homework. It was the only one which would fit our schedule. And, I think you are a tiny bit mistaken regarding the cellular and internet fees. Yes, I did see the spa charges dear, you you tip at all? Yes, I do know a bit about cruising, my husband was the doctor on a Carnival ship. There was NOTHING wrong with my credit cards, certainly not worth FIVE TIMES going to sort things out. If others thought the food was great, I think their idea of good food is Arby's or Applebee's. Also, you must not have had ***** service in your lifetime, or else you'd agree with me.
My comments were directed toward professionals, not blue collars. For any blue collars out there, this cruise ship is pretty cool. For others, don't even waste your time reading the description which says it was refurbished in 2005. It looks like a tacky Vegas casino from the 70's. Bon Voyage Ken! Have fun on your next CC.
Vicci,
I assume your uppity derrierre has left Cruise Talk for good by this point. We do not like bigots of any type, Vicci. We are fun-loving, Carnival Cruise loving folks who don't care who wears a white collar or a blue one each day. All we care is who can consume the most Monkeyheads and/or Buckets of Beer in a single day. You have not impressed any of us with your elitist drivel. If you want to impress most of us who frequent this forum, try chugging two 16-ounce aluminum bottles of Bud Light in 1.5 minutes flat. That would impress most of us more than the fertilizer you've been spreading around in this thread. As for five cruises making you something special, most of us Monkeyheads go on that many cruises in a year or two. Have a nice day!

We love you Kalyn Padget and Rosie Unsworth (our lovely adopted daughters), Amy Barton, Melanie Therrien, TJ, and Rick! The Fun Crew puts the fun in Carnival Cruising! Thank you Butch for being a fantastic CD!
I've only been off the Holiday for a short time, and I'm already having fits of melancholy. I guess unless we can cruise every two months, I'll probably never be satisfied again.
Our 7 YO and 6 YO grandsons decided that they would prefer a Thanksgiving Cruise to Key West and Cozumel on the Destiny to Thanksgiving in Orlando/Kissimmee this November. We must be teaching them well. Thanks for an excuse for my booking another cruise, guys!

We went on two Norwegian Cruise Line Tramp Steamer Cruises - Thank goodness we were too busy on our honeymoon in 1978 to realize how crummy the cruise actually was - Then they ruined our 2007 Hawaii Cruise that was my retirement gift from my wife - Two chances is enough! - Never again!
Our current future dream cruise is 15 days back-to-back on the Freedom / 8-day Eastern (Fort Lauderdale) and the Valor / 7-day Western (Port of Miami) with a 45 minute private shuttle ride in between the two Fun Ships.
