Go take a long walk off a short pier.

    Oh   my   God!!!

I hadn't heard saying that used in years and from a woman no less.

I spend at least 3 days a week with a bunch of old foul mouth swabbies from the real navy telling sea stories..

    Goldwinger88 ~

I'm not sure where that one came from, but I remember it from years ago.   Guess just a bit of my younger days catching up with me!   LOL

KULPN   At least she is a high class idiot. LOL

Hey Lizz and Dottie   Would you care to share or would you be sent to modertion again.  I just had my third of the day sent to moderation.  Go figure.

    Joan ~

The three snaps, etc. is in reference to a skit from that show In Loving Color, the skit was done by the Wayans Brothers and called Men on Film.  The three snaps is the "ratings"... oh my god some funny stuff.   Last night Bill and I were up until around 1:30 or so watching different clips on you tube.  We were dying!   Go to you tube and search Men on Film In Living Color and there is a ton of stuff there.

Im not even going to respond to your ignorance, but I will say that I'm embrassed that you would bad mouth a world class cruise line, and that you are the type of person that has this country all F'ed up.  You and your white collar bankers and doctors go figure! Wink.

Yes, indeed, I did a lot of homework.  It was the only one which would fit our schedule. And, I think you are a tiny bit mistaken regarding the cellular and internet fees. Yes, I did see the spa charges dear, you you tip at all?  Yes, I do know a bit about cruising, my husband was the doctor on a Carnival ship. There was NOTHING wrong with my credit cards, certainly not worth FIVE TIMES going to sort things out. If others thought the food was great, I think their idea of good food is Arby's or Applebee's. Also, you must not have had ***** service in your lifetime, or else you'd agree with me.

My comments were directed toward professionals, not blue collars.  For any blue collars out there, this cruise ship is pretty cool.  For others, don't even waste your time reading the description which says it was refurbished in 2005.  It looks like a tacky Vegas casino from the 70's.  Bon Voyage Ken!  Have fun on your next CC.

    Vicci,

I assume your uppity derrierre has left Cruise Talk for good by this point. We do not like bigots of any type, Vicci. We are fun-loving, Carnival Cruise loving folks who don't care who wears a white collar or a blue one each day. All we care is who can consume the most Monkeyheads and/or Buckets of Beer in a single day. You have not impressed any of us with your elitist drivel. If you want to impress most of us who frequent this forum, try chugging two 16-ounce aluminum bottles of Bud Light in 1.5 minutes flat. That would impress most of us more than the fertilizer you've been spreading around in this thread. As for five cruises making you something special, most of us Monkeyheads go on that many cruises in a year or two. Have a nice day!

    Smitty

We love you Kalyn Padget and Rosie Unsworth (our lovely adopted daughters), Amy Barton, Melanie Therrien, TJ, and Rick! The Fun Crew puts the fun in Carnival Cruising! Thank you Butch for being a fantastic CD!

I've only been off the Holiday for a short time, and I'm already having fits of melancholy. I guess unless we can cruise every two months, I'll probably never be satisfied again.

Our 7 YO and 6 YO grandsons decided that they would prefer a Thanksgiving Cruise to Key West and Cozumel on the Destiny to Thanksgiving in Orlando/Kissimmee this November. We must be teaching them well. Thanks for an excuse for my booking another cruise, guys!

We went on two Norwegian Cruise Line Tramp Steamer Cruises - Thank goodness we were too busy on our honeymoon in 1978 to realize how crummy the cruise actually was - Then they ruined our 2007 Hawaii Cruise that was my retirement gift from my wife - Two chances is enough! - Never again!

Our current future dream cruise is 15 days back-to-back on the Freedom / 8-day Eastern (Fort Lauderdale) and the Valor / 7-day Western (Port of Miami) with a 45 minute private shuttle ride in between the two Fun Ships.

I guess she didn't study much as she bought "art" from those scallywags at the art auction, known to pass cheap, fake stuff at high prices.

Guitarman   Why in the world would you ever want to own a million dollar yacht when you can sail on a muti-million dollar Carnival cruise ship.  You would have to be an elitist to even consider it.  And we know we blue collar workers are not elitist. LOL

    Re: Inspiration-What a Dump!

The Inspiration was my "first" and therefore will always hold a very special place in my heart.  Sometimes you can tell by the name of a business exactly what to expect. Let me see..... Carnival..... I think Rio........Garrish (not dumpy) decor.......bright lights........vivid colors.....circus-like atmosphere.  Sounds like a good time to me.

I could go on forever about the "special" Indian food our table was introduced to on our last cruise (without complaining about the quality of the "ordinary" food! Can you imagine!) or how much that I spent at the spa while my husband was scuba diving in Belize last May.

I always add international roaming (for a flat fee) to my cell phone plan before we take a long trip and then cancel it after we get home.  I prefer not to use my phone on vacation but sometimes its too difficult to not snap a picture of yourself with a nice cold drink on a nice warm beach and send it to those unfortunate souls that couldn't join you (I know that's evil, but sometimes I can't help it).  My husband and his boss have this little thing going that whenever one of them is out of town they call the shop and when the other one answers the phone all they hear is one great big "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" and then click. That alone is worth the price of admission!

It's too bad that some people think so much of themselves that they have to belittle everyone and everything else to stay upon that mighty perch.  Loosen up!  None of us are going to make it out alive.  Enjoy the journey.

If your husband worked for carnival you should know how it works and what it is like.  Sounds like you're not the smart one.  As for us blue collars we'd appreciate it if you kept you hig and mighty snooty A$% off our "dumpy boats". Thanks

I think it is interesting that Carnival is serving Lobster under the legal size maybe I should have that investigated...nope. And smaller lobster is sweeter and more tende...you would think with all that high and might talk of yours you would know more about lobster than us lowly blue collar people.  Sounds like you're an FAKE!!!
