Is anyone going on the Legend on August 2nd. I am traveling with my husband and daughter (17 yrs) and my best friend and her family. We are very excited about our ports of call. We have been to Cozumel a couple of time and the Cayman Islands once. Can't wait to see Belize and Isla Roatan. We are planning on the river boat and myan ruins tour in Belize and Tabyana (sp) in Roatan. Has anyone else done these tours and were they worth it? Does anyone have any information on the boat. I absolutely love the renaissance art theme and can't wait to see it.

My Husband and I will also be on that cruise. Counting down the days, can't wait.

 I'll be there with my new hubby! We are taking the cruise for our honeymoon and we can't wait to go! We have not been to the Caribbeans yet so we are not familiar with any of the excursions for this trip. We do have one booked at Cayman and and Cozumel. We haven't made up our minds about Roatan and Belize yet.

 Have you watched the video about the designing of the ship? It's really interesting and they point out a lot of the legend inspirations and where they are located on the ship. 

My wife and I are booked for 08/02/09. This will be our 5th cruise on the Legend from Tampa. Your going to love it!

Congrats on the upcoming wedding.(honeymoon). My wife and I are having our anniversary on Aug 3rd. Come to the Unicorn Bar (Lido aft) between 2 & 3 on Aug 2nd and well get you a honeymoon drink. Just ask one of the bartenders where I am.

Our family of 9 will be there.  3 cabins. 

I've finally gotten the others as excited as I am!  SIL is the one who asks me now how many days til vacation    Or course I was counting down when it was in the 500+ days.

 Surprisingly they don't want to plan any excursions.  I'm sure they'll figure something out but for now it's more of a let's simply relax, get to a beach, and chill.  This is our 2nd cruise as a family and we got burned a little on an excursion when it was cold (ok, cool) and rainy in Cozumel.  But the shopping area was interesting.  We shall see what happens.

How great, a family cruise!!! You will enjoy the Legend. My wife and I are beach people (live in Florida at the beach) also. If you plan anything, don't miss Tabyana Beach in Isla Rotan. This is one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen. White sand, calm  and clear water, and a reef about 50' offshore with plenty of marine life to see with just a mask. I would suggest booking that if you book anything.

Also, you may want to try a special night at the Golden Fleece Supper Club. Out of our last five cruises on the Legend, we have eaten at the Golden Fleece 6 out of 7 nights. It would have been 7, but they don't open on the first night. Yes, there is a fee ($30pp) but it is well worth it. Outstanding food and service that is not found much today. Have a great time and see you aboard.

 Ahh, I'm jealous you and Beth live on the beach in FL.  We love going to St. Pete's Beach (their trolley system is awesome to get around on).  But, it's also nice to have the seasons here in IA too (ok, so I'm trying to talk myself into believing this )

I want to go to the Golden Fleece, but I'm having difficulty getting takers there!  Even the grandkids laugh at me when I tell them I want to see the butterfly and turtle farm.  But, they know I'm a kid at heart so they put up with me.  At least I've never heard them call me old fashioned...

We will be boarding the Legend on the 2nd a day after our wedding and we cannot wait!!!
