The newer ships have them, but the Holiday does not.  Shower gel, shampoo and toothpaste are provided.  Just a little FYI.

Thanks cruzingal,  another thing that will have to be packed, uhggg!  As for the shower thing are the sample size or bigger, i.e. enough for a 5 day cruise?  I could see us running out with my luck.  I'm sure the wife has some already packed.

The shampoo and shower gel are in big dispensers in the shower.  The only thing you need to bring is conditioner if you use it.  They also provide nice, lathery soap.  Don't bring those heavy bottles of shampoo, soap or toothpaste.   All are provided and replenished idaily if you run out.

You are very welcome and if I can help in any way, just let me know!  We just got off the 5/28 sailing of the Holiday and had so much fun we are taking our 4 teenage boys on the 6/25 sailing.  Oh, one more thing, if you have kids invest in a drink/soda card for the week.  You can buy them on the Lido deck before you set sail and I think for a 5 day cruise they are about $25 or so.  I drink alot of diet coke, so it's always a good investment for me.  Tea, juice, etc., has no charge, but cokes do!  The whole family can use the card (one at a time) the whole cruise.  I usually get my cokes at any bar on ship. 

On the Holiday. you will have to bring your own blow dryer..They have big soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower stalls. I never used it. I brought my own from home. I went and bought all small trail size bottles of everything.. You are provided with four or five small samples of toothpaste. Two womens razors.. two packs of Pepcid.and a couple of bars of small soap...and a box of Kleenex..

We brought some water in our luggage. You will have a big bottle of water. I think it costs u around 4.00. There is a six pack of sodas.. two cokes. Two diet cokes and 2 sprites.. If u use these sodas . it will cost u 1.95 each. Buy you a soda card when u first get there. it is around 25. or 27. for unlimited soda and juice..

Take something for seasickness. If the weather is bad. you might need it. I suggest Trans Derm patches. You will have to get a prescription from your dr. Mine costs 37.50 for 4 patches..

Should we take a small travel iron or a travel steamer to get the wrinkles out of the packed clothes?

Actually if you ask your room steward he will provide you with one or at least they did for us on the Celebration.

I always bring my steamer.  Haven't had a wrinkle yet it couldn't handle!

Just got back from the Triumph to St John's (6/11).  They did not have  "soda cards", instead they put a Coke Sticker on your S&S card.  I guess to stop soda card swapping.  Don't know if this is on all ships, just a heads up.  Have a great trip!

Each member of the family should have their own soda card.  If the cruise line catches you passing off sodas to family members and then going back for more, they won't look kindly on you.
