Hello to All!

I am intersted in knowing if anyone has traveled on The Destiny and had a Balcony room.  My Fiance' and I traveled on the Sensation May 10-14 2009 to the Bahamas and had a BLAST! This time we will be traveling to Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman July 2010 and once again I am SOOOO EXCITED!  If you have any pointer for me feel free!  Cruise Love!

We were on the Destiny in January, going to Gran Turk, Half Moon Cay, Nassau. It is a great ship, so far we have not been on a bad one.  Just remember that Deck 3 does not go all the way thru, the galley is there.  Don't remember why I had such a time with it, no problems on the other ships, but I kept forgetting & getting off on the 3rd floor. We had cabin 9202 on the Lido deck & it was great.

First thing we like to do when we get on a ship is take the deck plan & travel the whole ship to get the lay out. That way whe we a dressed for dinner & I have on high heels, we know the short cuts.  Have fun on your cruise & many more.  We are going on our 5th at the end of August on the Paradise out of Long Beach & hope to book another for Jan. 2010 on board.

Shaneisa -- just traveled on Destiny in March (Nassau, Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk) with a balcony room. I think the balcony room is worth the extra $$. The ship is great. So great -- I booked the same for this September with the Hubby! Half Moon Cay is the most beautiful island I have ever seen! The crew is wonderful and the ship is easy to get around. Dinner was a little slow from time to time -- but besides that its a wonderful trip. Planning on Freedom (Key West, Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman) next March -- hoping we enjoy her as much. Five of us took the Destiny's Southern Caribbean Cruise and we absolutely LOVED it!

We embarked in Puerto Rico and each day found ourselves in a different paradise.  The ship was wonderful.  The staff A+.   Food and entertainment was excellent! 

I would recommend this cruise to anyone who is looking for a port intensive cruise.  The opportunities are endless as far as sights and activities. 

My only recommendation is to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS BEFORE TAKING A CRUISE.......because you will need all the energy you can muster! 

My first cruise was on the Triumph (which got me hooked) and I remember thinking that it couldn't get any better.  Then we sailed on Destiny and it blew me away.  NOW we are scheduled for the Dream....

I have no doubt that it will just keep getting better and better!

My sister and I traveled on our first cruise in June on the Destiny. We had a balcony room and it was awesome!!!!! The food, entertainment were great! If you have late seating in the dining room 'Universe Lower" ask for Roger for your waiter. He was fantastic!!!!! The pool was small but enjoyed it. Overall, the Destiny was a beautiful ship and we had a blast!!!!!

Oh that route was FANTASTIC!!!!!..LOVED GRAND TURK ESPECIALLY THE POOL AND SWIM-UP BAR...IT WAS AWESOME!!! Half Moon Cay was gorgeous and so was Grand Turks and the BBQ was delicious...Nassau was good and loved the straw market....I would do that route again!!!!!
