the mexican village that is there now has a different atmosphere to it. I will have to loo and see which side I ate dinner at last year because the lunch we had there was horrible.

When I travel off base tomorrow I will stop and pick up some of the menus if they have it available, etc... There have been various remodeling done to the area.

What type of information do you want for san diego. I have started to call the hotels for parking rates for pre or post cruises. I am starting downtown and working my way out. I have started a word document with the websites of hotels and parking rates.

do you want things like the closest military bases etc..?

Oh, the package store at north island is much more expensive then the exchange and commissary. I went over there this morning to check the prices for you.

The exchange and commissary are adjacent to one another so in case it rains you won't get wet.

Thank you for all your hard work. Really it's up to you.  Info like what you have already provided would be great.  I'm thinking of adding onfo on the Navy Lodge and such.

 I do appreciate all your hard work.  FYI - I ran across a San Diego website - I think it was a coupon site that listed some hotels that offered Park and Cruise.  If I find it I'll post.

The port of san diego has just about everything in one website. The navy bases also allow you to park your car there for extended times in certain areas. It is about a mile from the ferry if you had to walk or a 17 dollar cab ride give or take a few dollars.
