and now its 114 days and counting

We will be there, this is our 3rd cruise, first one eastern.  first time on the glory. the last time was on the liberty.  We booked a midship balcony room this time. we had an extended balcony last time on the back of the ship and it was extremely noisy as the music clubs were right below us, really bad kareoke until 130am every night!!  We are on the 8th floor this time with rooms above and below us!  We can't wait though, we go every February for a cruise. You can't beat it!  The best vacation!

Welcome aboard Jatardy.  It's getting close!  February is a popular month for me too.  Last February I was on the Valor. This is my second eastern caribbean cruise but San Juan and Grand Turk are new to me!  Where are you from?  It's -2 here in Toronto

We are from Maine.  We are really looking forward to it.  Especially it being our first Easatern cruise.  It's about 25 degrees F here in Maine with freezing rain!  It has already snowed here!  Counting down the days for February!

Hi jatardy,  Welcome to the group.  Maine, huh?  We seem to be the only people not from a really cold place, so far.....we are still in the high 80s and running the AC during the afternoons.  But then again, I don't remember it being this hot this late in other years.

Heather, we are going to Tampa for a few days after the cruise to see Chuck's son, daugher-in-law, and granddaughter, so we can't go early to get the close hotels that want you there more than 1 night....

We have to figure out someplace that we all can get together sometime during the cruise, and if nobody is doing anything particular once we got to San Juan get together for that port.....

It seems as though everyone in this forum is celebrating an anniversary.  Is anyone doing something special for your significant other? I have been looking at the Bon Voyage Gifts....don't know what to do yet.

 I booked my air flights today I had to change things im now leaving on saterday and comming home on the monday that saved me $1000 so now all I need to do is book 2 nights of hotel 1 each way

We did the same thing, it saved a lot of money, and the best thing is its not so rushed, you got an extra day at both ends!

 so far the holiday inn in dorvel looks the cheapest

 I was reading that in San Juan there is A trolly bus system than runs fron the port and around old San Juan you can get on andoff stops for free so one can do A self tour

Hi Jimmyby, Where did you read about this San Juan trolly?  Is it on the web?  Just interested so I can find out about it.

 I read it in A cruise ship guide book also check on line under porto rico
