I've been on the Fantasy once, not my favorite. Been on the Sensation which I liked a little better, but I love the Glory. I hate that it is going to leave Port Canaveral because that is also my favorite port to sail from. But the flip side is the Dream is taking her place, so I guess that will have to be my next favorite.

I hope I will book that one next year too. We are already booked next April on the Sensation. My friend is taking her husband and 3 little ones on their first cruise. I had to book a cabin by myself since her family will be traveling for that one.

My dh, girlfriend/aunt and her new husband who will be celebrating thier first anniversary on board ship, will be on the cruise. It will be his first cruise, dhs and aunts second and my third cruise. Am so looking forward to the Glory, except for a few things I have mostly heard really great things about it. It will be our first time in a balcony. And we am from Northern Al about 25 miles from the Tn border and the others are from TN.

My DW and I will be there....for our 4th Carnival Cruise. First two on the Fantasy and the third on the Sensation. Really looking forward to the Glory......to celebrate the wifes retirement this past May. I retired in 2005. We live just an hour from the port in Deltona.

Welcome Dragonrider...like the name. Does it have anything to do with Deal's Gap and tail of the dragon? I have been on the Dragon 4 times and ready to go again. See you on board.

My sister means well, but has all the tact of a cannon ringing a doorbell.

Anyway, I am looking forward to this cruise for the pirates and Magen's Bay. I have remained in Miami for more than 50 years so beaches are not a special attraction, but Magen's Bay is lauded as one of the more beautiful in the world. Any great suggestions for unique excursions on St. Maarten (other than shopping)?

I didn't say you were too old for anyone, just 30 years is a BIG difference BIG BROTHER.

61-38=23 years Kathleen, not 30. Are you trying to make Patrick feel older than he really is? Plus, 40ish ladies like us 60ish gentlemen. We know how to treat a lady like a lady should be treated.

We love you Kalyn Padget and Rosie Unsworth (our lovely adopted daughters), Amy Barton, Melanie Therrien, TJ, and Rick! The Fun Crew puts the fun in Carnival Cruising! Thank you Butch for being a fantastic CD!

I've only been off the Holiday for a short time, and I'm already having fits of melancholy. I guess unless we can cruise every two months, I'll probably never be satisfied again.

Our 7 YO and 6 YO grandsons decided that they would prefer a Thanksgiving Cruise to Key West and Cozumel on the Destiny to Thanksgiving in Orlando/Kissimmee this November. We must be teaching them well. Thanks for an excuse for my booking another cruise, guys!

We went on two Norwegian Cruise Line Tramp Steamer Cruises - Thank goodness we were too busy on our honeymoon in 1978 to realize how crummy the cruise actually was - Then they ruined our 2007 Hawaii Cruise that was my retirement gift from my wife - Two chances is enough! - Never again!

Our current future dream cruise is 15 days back-to-back on the Freedom / 8-day Eastern (Fort Lauderdale) and the Valor / 7-day Western (Port of Miami) with a 45 minute private shuttle ride in between the two Fun Ships.

23 is still 30ish and I love to agitate my brother, I have worked hard at it my whole life lol.

I married a country gentleman and he is only one year older, just depends on the guy.

You have been on Glory before - just where is the 24 hour soft-serve ice cream located? I assume it is somewhere on Lido deck but it doesn't show where on the deck plans. On the Legend it is well marked on the plans and I was wondering. That is one of our favorite on-board treats. Thanks.

Good day to you. Soft serve...facing the Red Sail on Lido it will be on your right side just before you enter the doors. Also there is another located at the very back left side by the pool.

Just 64 more days... Yeah! I also have the Sensation booked on 4/11/2010 and again 9/12/2010 and now we are looking for April 2011 for the whole office maybe on the Dream. Nothing like planning ahead lol.

No, lol, I'm an avid scifi reader and a fan of Anne McCaffrey and dragonlance novels... so dragonrider.... Will be my first trip on the Glory, My dh's first on a large cruise ship, his first was on the Fantasy, which any cruise for me is a blast. I think I could live cruising... Can't wait almost under 2 months now. See u on board. Big Smile
