Hello!!!! I am packing and ready to go. Only 11 more days.....WooHoo!!!!!

Hi everyone!  Just booked yesterday the will be the second half of B2B for us.   Did the exact same Cruise last September and had a GREAT time!   So it will be #3&4 on the Holiday and #11 & 12 with CCL.  We'll be on the ship watching ya'll board!   Hope to meet some of you!

Hello again everybody!  In just 7 days, my family and I will be in the air enroute to Mobile for a good nights rest before boarding the HOLIDAY on the 29th!!  It sure looks like we are going to have a good time.  Everyone here is sooo stoked about the trip!  With the exception of my sister and her family (school teachers and 2 in school).  They don't get to go.  They will also be busy "dog-sitting".   However, for mom and dads' 60th we will go during June or July to Alaska, so that we can all go!

Is everyone driving in on the 29th or are some (like us) coming in early?  I know JRock59 will already be onboard ... cool for her!  I wonder if she was able to keep her same cabin or moving to a dif. one.  The latter would be preferred as it would seem like a whole different trip!  Can't wait to be onboard!   ~  T

Nope gotta change Cabins as we booked this one much later than the first one.  It's NBD as the cabin stewarts help you but would rather stay in same Cabin so we don't have to deal with it.  Plus it's fun to just sit and watch everyone get off! 

We are driving in on the 28th and spending the day at the beach in Mobile. Is it just me or do the days seem to be getting longer?????

 The days are getting longer, and it makes me sad. LOL

I am so ready to get in my car and drive to the port. We plan on leaving TN early Saturday morning, because I will be out with friends the night of the 28th letting loose on my birthday! So, as I told the carnival booking staff....I intend on treating every day like my special day!

I can't wait to meet all of you! If anyone is interested in having a social drink together let us know. It can be coffee as far as I am concerned...ha ha.

Charleton,  Happy birthday on the 28th!  You might need a coffee after "partying it up" with your friends the night before the drive down!  Wishing you a safe night and drive to Mobile! 

 I am sure we will all be on the Lido.  We will recognize you from your picture and smile.  I believe we are confirmed "early" dining, as that is what my parents are used to.  I had "late" on the FANTASY in Feb., which I think I prefer.

The days are getting longer

 

Actually our daylight is getting shorter; however, it does seem like they are putting a couple extra hours into each day!  Just not when I am supposed to be resting!

These last 7 days of waiting are killing me! I can't wait! Does anyone have plans for when we dock or has booked any of the excursions? I got booked in a non-portside room which I'm hoping to get changed when I arrive. I don't want to miss anything!

Oh Boy!!!   It's off to work this morning, then back to finish some last minute packing.  Have to make sure everything is in ... that needs to be in.  Then dinner with friends, take the dog to l'il sis's house, and off to parents to spend the night.  We will get up early, for the last time (at least until the vacation is over), to head to Kansas City to fly on to Mobile!  

Vacation time is here ... well almost!  Just TWO more days to put it on CRUISE CONTROL!!!   See you all later!   ~  T

 I am looking forward to sailing out of Mobil on Saturday! Tonight I have 5 papers to complete for class (technically next weeks classwork), and my professor has been gracious enough to allow me to post my work early. I have to do some laundry while I am working on my papers, and then do the last minute pack job. 

Friday (MY BIRTHDAY!!) I have to work during the day, but then we are having a small pool party for me before I have to get ready to leave. We will leave out of Tennessee at 3 am Saturday morning, and we'll see all of you aboard!

Hi All! Just checking in.......we have had the best weather for this first part of our Cruise so I've asked the crew to put in a repeat order for us!  The crew on the Holiday are just wonderful so no doubts ya'll are in for fun-Fun-FUN!   The food has been great, the staff is sooooooo nice and the drinks well........the best ever!!  Cozumel was very quiet the other day even with 4 ships in it wasn't crowded on the shopping strip at all.  Funny part wa where the ship was docked it rained (POURED) but down in town it was sunny.  Did find that for some reason vendors were not into bargining so we didn't buy much.   Looking forward to Cruising you all!  Carleton come on up to the Wharf Bar back of the Lido deck that's were we'll be Ramona is our favorite bar tender.  We'll help you celebrate your b-day!  Everyone come!!

Charlton this is Amy!  How the heck are you?  We had so much fun meeting you and your brother, but I thought his name was Clayton?!?

We can't wait to do it again!  Keep in touch.  Got any good pics?

First cruise and first time out of the country for my wife and me.  We are Kelly and Natalie from Birmingham, AL, and we will be celebrating our 10yr. anniversary (10/30) on the Holiday!  Hope to meet some of you soon!
