WOOOOOOOOOOOOO..Just booked....Super Excited. Why are they taking the Holiday away???
The Holiday is alas old and small. Upkeep on an older ship is probably very costly. Newer bigger ships can carry more passengers and thus can bring in more $$$ for the company. That's why a cabin on a smaller HAL ship is more costly. Diane and I are booked for the Holiday's last cruise, as the Fun Ship Holiday anyway, in November. We can never do the first cruise on a Fun Ship, so we decided to do the Holiday's last cruise. Happy cruising!

I've only been off the Holiday for a short time, and I'm already having fits of melancholy. I guess unless we can cruise every two months, I'll probably never be satisfied again.
Our 7 YO and 6 YO grandsons decided that they would prefer a Thanksgiving Cruise to Key West and Cozumel on the Destiny to Thanksgiving in Orlando/Kissimmee this November. We must be teaching them well. Thanks for an excuse for my booking another cruise, guys!

We went on two Norwegian Cruise Line Tramp Steamer Cruises - Thank goodness we were too busy on our honeymoon in 1978 to realize how crummy the cruise actually was - Then they ruined our 2007 Hawaii Cruise that was my retirement gift from my wife - Two chances is enough! - Never again!
Our current future dream cruise is 15 days back-to-back on the Freedom / 8-day Eastern (Fort Lauderdale) and the Valor / 7-day Western (Port of Miami) with a 45 minute private shuttle ride in between the two Fun Ships.
