Hubby and I are packing tonight...we were going to put it off until Friday night but knowing us..we will forget things..

Ohh so excited..I dont know if I will sleep saturday night before my 7:30 am flight sunday monrning..wowza!!

Hello Nina,,, The M&M is on the 9th, Monday  after the 2nd dinner around 10:00 PM in the Grand Piano Bar. Hope we all fit sounds like we have a large group.

wawhoooo..! It's friday.. one more day then it's flyday..hehe our flight is 7:30 sunday morning from ATL get to LAX about 10:30 - Carnival shuttle is picking us up & we are on our way Wawhoo...It's going to be a Splendor time!   WAWHOOO!!!

Ohmygawsh, packing last night was a nightmare..I'm not even done packing and my suitcase is tippin on the 50lb limit..  Hubby says its my wine bottle..haha But I aint ditchin that..

 Can't wait for Flyday!!!

HI EVERYONE!!  Don and I may see you on the shuttle as well.  We fly in at 8:30.  And I HAVE NOT started packing yet!  Oh well it will keep my mind busy  tomorrow huh?  About the wine, how are you getting it on the ship???

Wawhoo.. We always just wrap our wine up good with some bubble wrap or something, put it in a flat box then in one of those big oversized ziplock bag and put it in our luggage. We have never has a issue.. ..Good Luck too ya.. Maybe some of us will meet up at the carnival shuttle line.. WaWhoo....

Yea you can't ditch the wine, leave some clothes out but don't take out the wine(haha).Bubble wrap and dry seal or freeze seal whatever it's called. So it doesn't spill if it breaks, and if it breaks you can just stick a straw int the bag. 2 more days guys!!!!wooohoo!!!

Yeh i'm definately not ditching the wine!!  haha

I'm putting the bottles ( 1 per adult) into a zip lock bag then I'm placing them each into there own wine gift box type holder. Placing that in my suitcase for the flight. Then when we get our luggage before we board the ship..We will put the wine gift boxes (with wine) into our carryon luggage to boarding (or just hold it) So they can check it there, and theres no problems. We will use the empty wine boxes for any bottles/small gifts we buy in Mexico or at duty free shop for storage on the way back.

Bonus...You got your wine with ya when you go to your stateroom.

 BTW- something I added to my packing list last night.. Don't forget a travel Lysol or antibacterial wipes to hose down your room with. (phones, doorknobs, remotes,etc.)

Made it safe into LAX last night, then drove down to San Diego.  I have never concentrated so hard driving on the wrong side of the road in a car that has the steering wheel on left side!  Now I'm back in LA with Rob and Mike, we are about to head out on the town! :)

I had a fantastic time on this cruise!!

The only part I didnt care for was the debarkation process for self checkout!! lugging my suitcases 4 floors down sucked..But i loved the cruise and I'm looking to book another one for next yr. Just trying to find the best deal around!
