I can say that I am very pleased with the email I received from Mr Cahill stating we get 50% off of our future cruise!!  I cant wait to book it now and go on another one!

Good to hear that you guys got some good news.  I was ALMOST feeling guilty about being on the cruise the week before the 26th!  Notice, I said 'almost'...!  Ooops.

I did not get the e-mail, but read it on a post. Sounds like the real deal!

I am seriously thinking about going on the June 15 to Canada; suites are about $850.

You might get a letter instead.  I sent a lot of emails to all the VP's including Mr Cahill.  Just mention when booking that you were on the 4/26 cruise and you will be redeemed.  I will be booking mine soon! 

 Thinking of going in Feb since I am already booked up this year....any ideas on where else to go?

I'm so excited for all of you who are receiving compensation.  We aren't sailing until July and if the swine flu thing isn't over and done with by then, well, we will know ahead of time.  It does make is better, at least we can pack accordingly or like some who were offer credit toward future cruises!  So happy that Carnival listened, I had a gut feeling they would come through for all of you.

I have already asked my TA to book a suite on the 4/25/2010 cruise. It will be our 7th year in a row.  I hope that the other 2 couples who sailed with us come back. 

Next year I will pack a jacket, just in case!
