I booked an Alaska cruise for May 2010.  Does anyone no which pier the Spirit will be using?

I don't, but hopefully it will NOT be Pier 91.  We just returned from a 7 day roundtrip SEAK trip on Princess and this was the most dis-organized boarding process (worse than Long Beach, CA) I have experienced.  We arrived at 1330 for a 1700 departure and got onboard at 1600.  Lines way to long.  Disembarking yesterday we got off the ship, picked up our bags and through customs/immigration in 15 minutes only to wait for 45 minutes for a cab.

 WOW, THAT IS NOT VERY ORGANIZED, LONG WAIT TIME WHICH SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED.  HOPE YOU ENJOYED YOUR CRUISE AND MADE IT ALL WORTHWHILE. 

We are going in May 2010 also on the 25th.  Hope things are moving better by then!

 I had the same question for my cruise (7/13) I called and was told it would be Pier 91.

We will be on the May 25th cruise also, on the upper deck.  Is the airport near the pier?  Also does anyone know of a good motel near the pier to stay the night before?

I would be interested in this as well.

Can't believe Carnival doesn't have it on their website.  Or I should say if they do I can't find it.

Anyone know for sure?  I read on another cruise forum it was Smith Cove?  Not sure if these are the same piers???

The airport isn't real near the pier. Sea-Tac airport is actually between Seattle and Tacoma, and is about a 15-20 minute drive to the pier (at least) depending on traffic. Off the top of my head, the hotels that will be nearest the pier will be the ones in the downtown Seattle area, such as Homewood or Mayflower Park. Not sure how cheap they are though (having lived in the Seattle area for 6 years though, I can tell you that there ain't much around there thats cheap lol)... I suppose you could also stay in a hotel near the airport, there are plenty and there may possibly even be transport to the pier.
